In April 1918, Fu Ya was born in Shangyu County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, and the Fu family was well-known in the local area.
Her father had studied abroad and was a foreign student, and after returning to China, he served in the national government, and her mother was a lady.
Under the influence of his family, Fu Ya was proficient in calligraphy and painting from the piano, chess, and chess.
At the age of 16, Fu Ya bid farewell to her parents and studied in Nanjing Private Oriental Middle School.

At that time, the school organized an internal lecture, in which Fu Ya was first exposed to Marxist thought, which she was shocked and believed to be a good way to save China.
In 1937, Fu Ya graduated from Nanjing Private Oriental High School.
At this time, when the Japanese invaders were attacking North China and the country was in danger, Fu Ya's classmates chose to join the ranks of the Kuomintang and take up arms to defend the country.
But at this moment, Fu Ya received a letter from Yan'an, and she didn't expect that this letter would change her fate.
Her eldest brother Fu Sen wrote in a letter: "Now is a good time for you to devote yourself to the revolutionary cause, and I hope you will bring your younger brother Fu Xi and sister Yu Li to Yan'an to make some contributions to the revolutionary cause of resisting Japan and saving the country." ”
After seeing his brother's letter, Fu Ya's heart ignited the idea of devoting himself to the revolutionary cause.
In April 1938, Fu Ya and his younger siblings crossed several provinces and regions to Yan'an and joined the Communist Party of China.
Since Fu Ya's struggle experience was not very rich, the organization decided to arrange for Fu Ya to enter the fourth phase of Yan'an Anti-Japanese Military and Political University Xi, and then assign her work according to her situation after graduation.
Fu Ya graduated in only 8 months, and after graduation, Fu Ya was arranged to work in the Kang Da General Political Art Troupe, mainly responsible for battlefield propaganda work.
In his later years, when Fu Ya recalled this time, he said with emotion: "Although the conditions in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province were difficult, it was the most fulfilling time in my life. ”
In addition to finding the revolutionary holy land he has always longed for here, Fu Ya also met the love of his life.
Accompany Chen Geng for a lifetime
In May 1940, Fu Ya came to Wuxiang, Shanxi Province with the Headquarters Art Troupe for a condolence performance, and Chen Geng, the commander of the 386th Brigade, was accidentally injured in the battle and was also recuperated in Wuxiang, Shanxi.
Wang Zhitao, head of the art troupe of the headquarters, said to Fu Ya and the other two girls: "You go to my house now to pick up the performance props, and you will use them later!"
Just when these girls came to Wang Zhitao's house with a smile and a smile, they found that the famous Chen Geng was actually in his house!
In the eyes of Chen Geng and Fu Ya, this was completely a "chance encounter", but as everyone knows, this was carefully "designed" by Wang Zhitao, why did he do this?
Chen Geng once had a wife, named Wang Genying, who was an anti-Japanese hero.
On March 8, 1939, Wang Genying and his comrades-in-arms were surrounded by Japanese troops.
When breaking through, Wang Genying suddenly thought that there was a satchel containing important documents and public funds from the party that she had not brought out, so she decided to return to the station to retrieve the satchel.
But at this time, he encountered the Japanese army, and after a confrontation with the Japanese army, Wang Genying died under the fire of the Japanese army at the age of 33.
Wang Genying's sacrifice made Chen Geng grief-stricken, and he had always been cheerful, he also became reticent, and he often blamed himself for not suffering this accident if he was by his wife's side.
Chen Geng's comrades-in-arms are very worried about his state and hope that he can get out of his pain as soon as possible.
When the art troupe came to Wuxiang, Shanxi Province for a condolence performance.
Liu Bocheng, the head of the art troupe, once instructed Wang Zhitao, the head of the art troupe of the headquarters: "Chen Geng's will is a little depressed, you can help see if there are any suitable female comrades in the regiment, and introduce them to each other." ”

The reason why I say this is because Fu Ya has a fiancé, but the fiancé has always been reluctant to come to Yan'an to work with Fu Ya for the revolutionary cause.
After hearing about this, Chen Geng said: "The political direction is very important. ”
Later, Fu Ya and her fiancé chose to break up due to different political ideas, and Chen Geng also waited for Fu Ya for three years.
In 1943, Chen Geng finally got his wish to be with Fu Ya.
But when Chen Geng applied to the organization for approval of the marriage between the two, he was rejected by the organization on the grounds that Fu Ya's family background was not good.
In 1941, during the performance of "Peacock Flying Southeast", Fu Ya thought of himself and Chen Geng because of the love of the hero and heroine, and couldn't help but sobble on stage.
Chen Geng in the audience also shed tears, all of which was seen by Deng Xiaoping beside him.
After the performance, Deng Xiaoping approached the director of the political department and said: "Although her brother is a spy, she is a member of the Communist Party!
With the efforts of everyone, in May 1943, Chen Geng and Fu Ya held a simple wedding and became revolutionary partners.
After marriage, the two had three sons and a daughter, and their relationship became stronger and stronger.
However, no matter how strong the feelings are, they cannot withstand the traces of time, and General Chen Geng has worked hard for the revolution for many years, and his physical condition is becoming less and less optimistic.
On March 16, 1961, Chen Geng's body had reached the point of running out of oil, and he said to Fu Ya in a weak voice: "Take care of yourself." ”
After saying that, the heart stopped beating, and General Chen Geng left us forever.
Chen Geng's death was undoubtedly a huge blow to Fu Ya, and the burden of the family fell on Fu Ya, but she had no complaints.
After Chen Geng left, Fu Ya did not choose to remarry, but did his best to raise several children.
In 1980, Fu Ya suddenly received a letter from his younger sister in the United States, in which the younger sister said that her parents had passed away in Taiwan, and she hoped to transport her ashes back to the mainland and return to her roots.
Seeing this letter, Fu Ya's thoughts were pulled back to the past, since he participated in the revolution, he could only occasionally contact his family through letters.
After the liberation of the country in 1949, Fu Ya also went south with the army, but she never found the whereabouts of her family, and at her insistence, she learned that her family had gone to Taiwan.
I thought that the liberation of China's Taiwan Province would not take too long, but I did not expect that due to the interference of various factors, Taiwan was never liberated.
This also made Fu Ya never able to see his family, the little sister's letter reminded Fu Ya of missing his family, and the death of his parents also made Fu Ya more eager to see his living relatives.
So she invited her little sister to return to China, and at this time she had the idea of visiting relatives in Taiwan.
It's a long journey to visit relatives
In 1984, Fu Ya's younger sister returned from the United States and went to the hospital to visit the sick Fu Ya.
When he saw the little sister who had not been seen for a long time, Fu Ya was very emotional, and everyone was still a high-spirited young man when they separated.
Now goodbye is an old man with slightly frosty temples, the sisters hugged their heads and cried, telling each other what they missed over the years.
But Fu Ya was still at work and it was inconvenient to go to Taiwan, so Xiaomei decided to go to Taiwan and bring back her parents' ashes.
When he learned that his parents' ashes had been transported back to his hometown, Fu Ya said with great emotion: "This pain is really indescribable in words. ”
In 1992, Fu Ya retired.
In June, Fu Ya packed his luggage and boarded a passenger plane to Taiwan.

In January 2011, Fu Ya died in Beijing at the age of 92.
