He said that according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the number of Italian tourists will exceed 180,000 by the end of 2023, and the cost of each trip per person will be 70,000 baht. At the same time, the Tourism Authority of Thailand's Rome office is also actively cooperating with Italy's largest tour operator company to organize events to stimulate honeymooners, family tours and other tourism groups, and the number of tourists from Milan is expected to increase to 3,750.
As for the Czech Republic, a potential market for Eastern Europe, tourism data as of December 15 showed that the cumulative number of tourists visiting Thailand from that country was 44,579. By the end of 2023, the number of tourists is expected to increase to 50,000, with an average stay of about 20 days and a cost of about 63,786 baht per person per trip.
