At 09:00 on December 25, 2023, the "Kuaizhou-1A" Yao-26 carrier rocket carrying 4 satellites of "Tianmu-1" 11 satellites and 14 satellites was launched from station 95A of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully putting the satellite into the predetermined orbit.
The mission payload "Tianmu-1" occultation exploration constellation 11 satellites ("Tongxiang Zhenshi"), 12 ("Tongxiang Tongkun"), 13 ("Tongxiang Xinfengming"), 14 ("Tongxiang Nezha Automobile") 4 satellites are developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry System Corporation, mainly used to obtain information on global atmospheric environmental elements, and the constellation can realize the three-dimensional and integrated business exploration of the global all-weather ocean, atmosphere and ionosphere after completion.
"Kuaizhou-1A" is a type of small four-stage carrier rocket launched by Aerospace Science and Industry Rocket Technology Co., Ltd., with the first, second and third stages being solid stages and the fourth stage being liquid stages. The diameter of the first and second stages of the arrow is 1.4 meters, the diameter of the third and fourth stages is 1.2 meters, and the fairing with a diameter of 1.2 meters / 1.4 meters can be selected. The arrow is about 20 meters long, has a take-off mass of about 30 tons, a take-off thrust of 60 tons, and has a capacity of 300 kg in low-earth orbit and 250 kg in 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. The arrow is equipped with an advanced liquid final stage, which has the ability to launch multiple satellites in different orbits.
The "Kuaizhou-1A" rocket is close to the take-off and capacity of the "Ceres-1" and the "Hyperbola-1" of Galaxy Power. Like the Kuaizhou-1A rocket, the Ceres-1 rocket has also entered the stage of batch delivery of launch services, and there is a certain degree of competition between the two sides.
This launch is the 5th launch of the Kuaizhou-1A rocket in 2023, the 34th launch of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the 63rd launch of China, and the 213th launch of the world. So far, the "Kuaizhou-1A" rocket has carried out a total of 23 launches, and 21 have been successful, with a success rate of about 91%. Since the successful launch of the "Kuaizhou-1A" Yao-23 rocket on June 22, 2022, the rocket has won 9 consecutive victories, tying the highest winning streak of the rocket, which is also the second longest winning streak of China's solid rocket.
