Jingning Garden, named for its proximity to Jingning Road, is located on the south side of Tongchuan Road, accompanied by Zhenrugang, and is a beautiful riverside park.
Divided into two parts, with a total area of 7,741 square meters, it takes about an hour to walk around, whether it is a leisure afternoon in the warm winter sun or just after a feast at Unipark MAX, it is a good choice for the public.
Although the total area of Jingning Garden is not large, the Putuo District Greening and City Appearance Administration has still put a lot of ingenuity into the design of Jingning Garden.
The garden adopts the design technique of enclosing flower beds interspersed with road squares, creating a changing space for retraction and opening. Along the Zhenru Harbor, take a break on the viewing platform, you can enjoy the beautiful river landscape, which is refreshing. The internal plant configuration is mainly based on arbor with flowering ground cover, using the planting form of North American safflower maple with large-scale layout, and its strong autumn autumn autumn landscape effect as the plant characteristics, forming the "reddest" highlight of the surrounding autumn.
It is worth mentioning that the park has set up standard public toilets, which are hidden in the greenery and fully functional, and were rated as the "most beautiful public toilets" in Shanghai in 2022.
