People's Daily Jishishan, December 24 (Reporter Yang Wenquan) The epicenter of the 6.2-magnitude earthquake in Jishishan is located in Liugou Township, Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, only 8 kilometers away from the county seat.

This is the fifth day after the earthquake, at about 9 o'clock on December 23, the earthquake relief cadre in the village and the deputy head of Liugou Township, Malik, contacted and coordinated the work of the day, and quickly left the Gaji Village Party and Mass Service Center and hurried to the resettlement site of the five communities in Gaji Village.

After a section of uphill road, I saw 37 emergency tents neatly arranged on the cement floor in front of the Gaji Village Happiness Mutual Aid Hospital.

On the emergency tent, the party flag was displayed, and the flag of the "Party Member Vanguard" was particularly eye-catching.

"The quilt that has just been issued, don't be reluctant to use it"

Approaching the tent closest to the fork in the road, Malik greeted him and lifted the curtain and walked in.

A boy is lying on a folding bed on one side of the tent, staring at his phone, concentrating on online lessons.

Two elderly people warm themselves around the fire. Seeing Malik come in, the old woman hurriedly gave up her seat and greeted him familiarly.

Malik saw the old quilt around the boy at a glance, so he lowered his voice and approached the old woman's ear and said, "This old quilt in your house is not very warm, don't be reluctant to use the quilt that has just been issued, take it out and use it." ”

The old man smiled and replied, "Okay!"

"The doll in the third year of high school can't afford to delay"

The boy in the tent who is taking online classes is named An Xiuwen, a senior at Jishi Middle School, and currently can only attend classes online. An Xiuwen's parents and sister are both working in other places, and he and his grandparents are the only ones at home.

"High school students have resumed classes, and the baby's Xi should be hurried, don't delay, the doll in the third year of high school can't afford to delay. Then Malik gave some more instructions before he stepped out of the tent.

In another tent not far from An Xiuwen's "home", An Xiufei, a senior high school student at Jishishan County Nationalities Middle School, was also concentrating on online classes. I saw him wrapped in a camouflage coat, sitting cross-legged on a folding bed, and a small wooden round table was his simple desk.

"The child is in the critical stage of the third year of high school, and when he arrives at the resettlement site, rice, noodles, oil, vegetables and coal can be supplied in a timely manner, and the family can still cook and eat. ”

An Xiufei's mother, Zhang Xuelian, said, "I believe in the party and the government, we will always tide over the difficulties, and wait until the spring of next year, and the situation will slowly improve." ”

"Now it's mainly about solving the problem of transitional placement"

Through various tasks such as finding out information in the early stage and helping to set up tents, the grassroots cadres stationed in the resettlement sites are already very familiar with the situation of each household, and the masses will find them as soon as they have any needs.

At present, a total of 47 households and 187 people have been resettled in the resettlement site of Gaji Village, mainly from the five communities of Gaji Village. The tent is equipped with daily necessities such as stoves, folding beds, bedding, mineral water, and self-heating food. A total of five state, county and township cadres, including Malik, are stationed at the resettlement site.

Malik went door-to-door to visit the resettlement site just as a new tent arrived. The cadres stationed in the village and the villagers worked together, unpacking, assembling the skeleton, fixing the wire rope, covering it with an insulation layer, covering it with a tarpaulin, and soon the tent was erected.

"Now the main thing is to solve the problem of transitional resettlement. Malik introduced that the transitional resettlement mainly includes relatives and friends, nearby rental, identified safe housing relocation, and building prefabricated houses.

Gaji Village has started to build prefabricated houses on the 24th, and it is necessary to ensure that the affected villagers move in before the 27th.

"Put the affairs of the masses first"

"After the earthquake, all the party members and cadres stood up as soon as possible, and the people's soldiers did their best to help us, and everyone put the affairs of the masses first. ”

As Malik spoke, the mobile phone message prompt sounded non-stop, and a colleague came directly to him, and after a brief conversation between the two, Malik hurried to another resettlement site where the construction of the prefabricated house was started.

"Party members and cadres must rush to the front, and grassroots party organizations must play a role so that the people feel dependent. ”

"Only those who can rush forward at critical moments, emerge from crises, and withstand tests in major struggles are the real communists. ”

……

In the face of disasters, countless party members and cadres like Malik are always charging forward, shouldering their responsibilities, and guarding the safety of the people's lives and property with actions.
