This year, the mainland's grain output reached 1,390.8 billion catties, a record high, the soybean self-sufficiency rate continued to increase, and the supply of important agricultural products such as the "vegetable basket" was sufficient, providing strong support for the high-quality development of the mainland's economy.
This year, the agricultural production and operation system has been further optimized. Nearly 4 million family farms and more than 2.2 million farmer cooperatives have carried out large-scale operations. More than 1 million agricultural socialization organizations have led more than 91 million smallholder farmers to join the process of agricultural modernization.
This year, the mainland's rural industries are more resilient. The central government has supported the construction of 91 advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters, cultivated 156 clusters with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan in the whole industrial chain, and increased the per capita income of farmers in the industrial chain by more than 4,000 yuan.
