On December 23, in the picking garden of Ayihe Community, Shaoqing Street, Pengshui Miao Tujia Autonomous County, the villagers took advantage of the fine weather to speed up the planting of sweet cherries, which not only achieved "winter idlers are not idle", but also broadened the industrial path for the villagers to increase their income and lay a solid foundation for industrial development.
It is understood that the Ayihe Community Picking Garden is built with 4.3 million yuan of the Central Special Lottery Community Chest, covering a total area of 19,763 square meters, with 4 multi-story greenhouses, supporting and improving the high-level reservoir, ecological parking lot, water and fertilizer integration facilities and equipment.
At present, the project has been completed and put into use, the local government through the "company + village collective + farmer" model, and actively adjust the traditional agricultural planting structure, vigorously develop facility agriculture, guide the villagers to make good use of live greenhouse resources, planting sweet cherries, bee sugar plums, out-of-season vegetables, etc., while enriching the villagers' fruit plates and vegetable baskets, the picking garden will also be built into a set of leisure, picking, sightseeing and tourism in one of the agricultural and tourism integration industrial park, providing more jobs and income channels for local villagers, and effectively boosting the revitalization of rural industries.
In recent years, the Central Lottery Community Chest has arranged a total of 50 million yuan in Pengshui in two batches, focusing on supporting 16 rural revitalization projects in the demonstration area of agriculture, culture and tourism integration development in Pengshui Moweishan area, and the projects are mainly implemented in 7 villages (communities) in the demonstration area, including Ayihe Community, Wenwu Community, Dishui Street, Huangjia Town, Guanghui Village, Qihong Village, Xiangnan Village, and Baishahe Village in the demonstration area. Relying on the ecological landscape background of Mowei Mountain, the project takes advantage of the location advantage between the two scenic spots of Mowei Mountain and Ayi River, and continues to promote the protection of red cultural resources, red tourism and red education industry in the demonstration area, so as to ensure the steady improvement of comprehensive agricultural production capacity.
