To get closer to the real vote, ESPN invited at least two members of the media from each of the league's 28 teams, and they also invited national and international journalists to vote. Same as the official voting rules at the end of the season, each voting member is required to list five players in order, with 10 points for the first place, 7 points for the second, followed by 5 points, 3 points and 1 point.
