MORE THAN 7 IN 10% OF PATIENTS RESPOND TO CARVYKTI THERAPY
Patients on CARVYKTI therapy need to have their blood drawn, which usually takes 3-6 hours, and then the blood sample is sent to the lab, where the chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) structure is placed on the T cells for the next 5 weeks.
The configured T cells are integrated into the patient's bloodstream, and when these blood are reinfused back into the patient's body, these configured cells multiply rapidly and attack all cancer cells throughout the body.

Recent studies of the effectiveness of CAR-T cell therapy have found that 72% to 97% of patients respond to treatment with CAR-T cell therapy, with patients reporting a reduction in symptoms. The report showed that within 12 months of reinfusion of modified blood, 77% of those who responded well to treatment had no progression.
Another study by the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago also found that CARVYKTI therapy was also effective in myeloma patients who "no longer respond to the chemotherapy drug lenalidomide."

CAR-T cell therapy can dramatically improve the survival rate of cancer patients

Some experts say that in the next 25 years, there are expected to be 4.5 million newly diagnosed cancer cases, and more than 100 CAR-T cell therapies are currently in clinical trials, which is expected to achieve a significant improvement in the five-year survival rate of cancer patients, which is a fortunate thing.
