According to Hefei Daily, the reporter learned that the construction of the junior class college building of the University of Science and Technology of China is planned to start in 2024, and it is planned to be built in the open space near the school gate of Jinzhai Road on the East Campus of the University of Science and Technology of China. After completion, it will form the core area of the East Campus of USTC with the old building of the Junior Class, the library and the first teaching building of USTC with Guo Moruo Square as the center, and will also become an important landmark of the west gateway of the HKUST campus.

Yang Yuanqing is a native of Hefei.
Yang Yuanqing was born in Hefei, Anhui Province in 1964, graduated from Hefei No. 1 Middle School in high school and Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a bachelor's degree.
