Boruto's new abilities

Boruto: Boruto Uzumaki's new abilities explained

In the third chapter of Boruto: Double Blue Vortex, Boruto Uzumaki shows off his new and unique skills to Caude, in addition to improving his physical skills and swordsmanship, Boruto also brings several other powerful abilities, and a notable and special skill in Boruto's arsenal is Boruto Uzumaki Spiral Maru. This is an amazing new ability that is said to be an upgraded version of the standard Spiral Pill and is stronger than the Standard Spiral Pill. This strengthened spiral pill harnesses the earth's energy and rotational force, resulting in an increase in strength. Unlike the standard Spiral Pill, it continues to deal relentless damage on impact, as the Earth has endless energy reserves.

In addition to the new Uzumaki Boruto Spiral Pill, Boruto also has other variants of the Spiral Pill, including the standard Spiral Pill and the Vanishing Spiral Pill. The key difference and feature of the Uzumaki Boruto Spiral Pill from other Spiral Pills is its ability to utilize planetary chakras, while other Spiral Pills rely on the user's chakra. This implies that Boruto may have mastered the Senjin Mode, an idea based on a series of theories that suggesting that dealing with natural energy in this way requires knowledge of senjutsu. While it has not been officially confirmed whether Boruto will be able to use the Immortal Mode, the natural energy connection of Boruto Uzumaki Spiral Pill suggests that he may have learned it.

It is believed that Boruto learned the theory of the Immortal Mode not just because he was able to use his natural energy to trigger the Uzumaki Boruto Spiral Pill. When Boruto arrives in Konoha, he has a toad hidden in his clothes, suggesting that he has some connection to Mt. Myoki and the Fruit Heart Layshi. This raises the possibility that he will learn Xi Senjin pattern from the Fruit Heart Monk or Fukasaku of Myoki Mountain, just like Naruto. Despite the summoning of the serpent, Boruto's connection to the toad strongly supports this theory, and his purpose with the toad is not just to summon, but also to learn Xi senjutsu at Myoki Mountain.

In addition to Boruto Uzumaki Spiral Pill and Senjin Mode, there is speculation that Boruto may possess a third hidden ability, which is subtly hinted at during his fight with Calder. Calder was shocked by Boruto's clever dodging of his attacks, moving in a manner similar to Sasuke Uchiha's teleportation technique. At the end of the third chapter, Boruto uses a specific gesture to indicate his intention to teleport after finding the Ten Tails, and at the end of the first chapter, he suddenly appears in Konoha and stomps on Calder's face, no doubt that he has mastered the Space-Time Technique, which is a testament to his ability to clear his eyes.

No matter how strongly these ideas and theories suggest that Boruto possesses these powers, we can only dismiss them as speculation until they are officially confirmed. However, these actions and theories all seem to suggest that Boruto did acquire these abilities. The similarities between Boruto's journey and Naruto's experiences in the Payne chapter are quite obvious. In that chapter, Naruto returned because of the Immortal Mode, and his power increased. Fans are eagerly awaiting the fourth chapter of Boruto: Double Blue Vortex to get a glimpse of Boruto's potential abilities. As the story unfolds, it will become clear whether these ideas are hypothetical or really well-founded.
