On the morning of December 18, Lao Rongzhi was finally executed. Looking back on the life of this female devil, six families, 7 lives, and 20 years of fugitive life, now, the curtain has finally come to an end.
Many people can't figure out how this girl who graduated from a kindergarten teacher's major, speaks slowly and logically, and has a unique coquettish temperament would be so cold-blooded and ruthless.
Just for a few taels of silver, she teamed up with her boyfriend, killed seven lives, destroyed six families, and began a 20-year career on the run.
But not only did she not realize her mistake at all, but she even said many times in court that she was wronged, and even pushed all the mistakes on her boyfriend.
Until December 18, 2023, the Supreme People's Court approved Lao Rongzhi's death sentence, and after hearing the news, Lao Rongzhi instantly lost his arrogance and sat on the chair in a daze.
Before he died, Lao Rongzhi also asked his family to help him pay off Huabei, hoping that they would be able to stand tall and be a man in the future. So, what is the ins and outs of this matter? Are there other hidden secrets behind this matter?
The first half of Lao Rongzhi's life
In 1974, Lao Rongzhi was born in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, her family is quite wealthy, and when she became an adult, Lao Rongzhi became a primary school teacher in the children's school of Jiujiang Petroleum Branch.
If he hadn't met Fa Ziying, maybe Lao Rongzhi would have lived like this forever. Until 1994, at a friend's wedding, 20-year-old Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying met.
Fa Ziying is a radical and violent person, but he is very good to Lao Rongzhi, which makes Lao Rongzhi, who is just beginning to fall in love, very moved.
In 1996, Fa Ziying was forced to flee Jiujiang City because he injured someone during the robbery.
Over the next three years, Lo Rongzhi followed Fa Ziying to participate in many robberies and murders, injuring seven families.
The first murder was in June 1996, when Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying fled to Nanchang, Jiangxi, and Fa Ziying stole other people's ID cards in order to conceal their identities and assumed the pseudonym "Chen Jia".
worked as an escort lady in a nightclub in Nanchang, but being a escort lady was not enough to support Lao Rongzhi's high consumption.
On July 28, 1996, Lao Rongzhi deceived Xiong, the target of the robbery, into his residence, and when Xiong lost his defense, Fa Ziying pounced, beat Xiong hard, and tied him up.
Xiong's family is in business and has a lot of money, and after stripping Xiong of the gold bracelet on his hand, the two were not satisfied with this, and got his home address from Xiong's mouth.
Then Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying came to Xiong's house, killed Xiong's family, and took away all the family's belongings.
Xiong's wife and daughter all fell under Fa Ziying's butcher's knife, and in order to eliminate the evidence, Fa Ziying also followed Lao Rongzhi's suggestion, eliminated the fingerprints at the scene, and cut the telephone line of Xiong's house.
This is the first time that Lao Rongzhi has committed a crime, and during the whole process, Lao Rongzhi not only did not feel the slightest guilt. even reminded Fa Ziying to destroy the evidence, which is enough to prove that in this whole incident, Lao Rongzhi is not as aggrieved as she said.
In the following three years, Lao Rongzhi followed Fa Ziying to participate in a number of crimes and murders, until December 28, 1999, when Fa Ziying was arrested in Hefei.
The panicked Lao Rongzhi fled in a hurry, during which he changed his identity many times and absconded for 20 years.
Absconded and was caught
On November 27, 2019, a woman chatted with a teller at a high-end counter in a shopping mall, in Dongbai Square, Caitang, Siming District, Xiamen, Fujian Province.
Little did she realize that the police had targeted her. The police found that the woman had many similarities with Lo Rongzhi, who had been absconding for 20 years.
First of all, the woman's appearance and body shape are similar to Lao Rongzhi, and secondly, the Fujian police could not find relevant information about the woman.
In order not to startle the snake, the police have been ambushing in Caitang Dongbai Square, and have launched an investigation into the residential area near Caitang Dongbai Square through big data.
Through the information provided by the merchant, they found that the woman was friends with the proprietress of the watch counter, and because the proprietress had something to do, the woman came to help for a few days.
So, the woman came to the counter again, and the plainclothes policeman who had been in ambush for a long time stepped forward to ask the woman about the information.
She behaved very calmly, saying that her name was "Hong Yejiao" and that she was from Nanjing, and the plainclothes police called the police on duty on the spot to inquire, but the result was that there was no such person.
So, the police took her to the police station for investigation, and during the whole process, the woman behaved very calmly, and even showed a smile when the police took pictures of her.
When the police asked her for personal information, she did not refuse to answer, but changed the subject, so the police took blood for DNA comparison.
In 20 years, there may be some changes in appearance, but DNA can't deceive people, and the results of the examination show that the woman is Lao Rongzhi, who has been on the run for 20 years.
At this point, Lao Rongzhi was finally caught.
Hearings
On August 31, 2020, Lao Rongzhi's case was heard in the Nanchang Intermediate People's Court, even though he knew that the police had all the relevant information about him.
But in court, she was still quibbling, saying that she was coerced by her ex-boyfriend Fa Ziying, and Fa Ziying even committed multiple rapes in order to control her.
Lao Rongzhi couldn't get rid of it, and later because she was pregnant with Fa Ziying's child, she went to the hospital many times to have a baby. Speaking of urgency, Lao Rongzhi also shed tears.
But in the face of evidence, even if Lao Rongzhi quibbled many times, he couldn't change the fact that she committed the crime. So on the morning of December 18, the Supreme People's Court approved Lao Rongzhi's death sentence, and then Lao Rongzhi was executed.
Before he died, Lao Rongzhi also warned his family that he hoped that they would help him pay off the arrears of Huabei, including the family's clothes and a big dog that he had raised for ten years, and Lao Rongzhi also entrusted it to his second brother.
Lao Rongzhi also apologized to the victim's relatives, and on the eve of the execution, his second brother sighed incessantly, he always believed that his sister was coerced by Fa Ziying.
And in 2020, he also invited lawyer Zhou Zhaocheng to help defend himself, and in the face of doubts from the outside world, Zhou Zhaocheng said that the right to defend is the basic right of Lao Rongzhi as a citizen.
And the lawyer also said that he had known another side of Lao Rongzhi, she likes to play the piano and paint, and she also has a puppy, and she is very kind to small animals.
But in the end, the court did not agree to the application of Lao Rongzhi's brother and appointed a lawyer to participate in the trial. In this regard, lawyer Zhou Zhaocheng is helpless.
But in any case, the fact that Lao Rongzhi and Fa Ziying participated in multiple homicide cases is a certainty, so the death sentence of Lao Rongzhi is also very in accordance with the laws and regulations.
