Yushi sent people from house to house to inquire, who wrote that sentence? But no one pleaded guilty. But something terrible happened, and all the people who lived around the stone were arrested and killed, and the meteorite was burned.
Later, Qin Shi Huang also encountered a strange thing: an emissary reported that someone on the road blocked the way with a jade bi and said to the messenger: "Give it to Chu Chi Jun (water god) for me." And said: "This year Zu Long (Shi Huang) died." "The prophet was about to ask, but the man was gone, and only the jade bi was placed on the ground.
The messenger brought Bi back and told Qin Shi Huang about it. The First Emperor was silent for a long time, saying, "The mountain ghost originally only knew about one year. "Let the imperial government examine the piece of bi, and I was surprised to find that it was the piece of bi that fell into the Yangtze River when the first emperor crossed the Yangtze River in the twenty-eighth year."
The previous Yingzhi Shouxin and the meteorite that fell from the sky were warnings from heaven, and now the "mountain ghosts" also issued warnings. The First Emperor was a little uneasy, so he divination was given, and the gua elephant showed that he had left the palace on a trip, so he had the last Qin Shi Huang tour of the east.
Qin Shi Huang did not expect that he died on the way back to Xianyang, and the Great Qin Empire that he had painstakingly managed all his life collapsed in the second year after his death. All the prophecies of heaven, mountain ghosts, and the common people have been fulfilled.
The two times recorded by Sima Qian have a strong contrasting effect. Song Jinggong said three things that the monarch should say, and with the ministers, the people, and Nian Cheng in his heart, the firefly moved, "Jing Gong is humble and virtuous, and the ying confusion retreats." (Tai Shi Gong Self-Introduction).
However, Qin Shi Huang did not heed the warning of Ying's confusion and vigilance, and took a brutal approach to exterminating his unfavorable remarks. In Sima Qian's view, the violent death of Qin Shi Huang and the demise of the Qin Dynasty were heaven's punishment for Qin Shi Huang's tyranny.

These records and commentaries show Sima Qian's ideas of "heaven and man induction" or "unity of heaven and man".
He believed that man's good and evil deeds could be sensed by heaven, and that man should walk in the same direction as Providence, "though there is a tomorrow, he will see where the confusion lies."
Sima Qian's "heavenly induction" is idealistic and formed by the influence of traditional thought and underdevelopment of astronomy. But Sima Qian's ideas were not used to rule the people, but rather to restrain the rulers. He believed that the sincere heart of a human king could move the emperor and make the heavens easier, such as Song Jinggong; if the human king did not listen to the warning, there would be disasters against the will of heaven, such as Qin Shi Huang.
From a materialist point of view, "confusion is chaos, thief, disease, mourning, hunger, soldiers." "There is no basis for it. In the long ancient society, there were more than twenty records of "confusion and keeping the heart", and more than half of them were relatively peaceful.
