On both sides of the main road in the village, houses are scattered, and natural gas, running water, and optical fiber broadband have been opened to households. In the afternoon, many villagers moved benches and sat in front of their houses to bask in the sun.
Luo Yuanwen, an 87-year-old man this year, came to the small restaurant in the village in a wheelchair after lunch. He is a practitioner and witness of the development of the Dream of Red Mansions Community Village from poverty and whiteness to harmony and tranquility today, although he is old, he still remembers that in that era of "catching up and surpassing", at that time, it seems that everyone has inexhaustible strength.

In the 60s of the 20th century, the Dream of Red Mansions Community Village was also called the "Lower Canteen Production Team". In 1963, Yang Zhiguo, who was then the captain of the lower canteen production team, led the whole team to engage in agricultural production, and the agricultural development of the lower canteen production team began to improve. They shouted the slogan of "learning from Dazhai, rushing to the sun, and catching up with the canteen" and engaged in agricultural and sideline production. By 1974, the per capita ration of the production team in the lower canteen reached 630 catties, and the unit price of a working day rose to 1.8 yuan.
Not only that, the production team of the lower canteen has also vigorously developed agricultural and sideline industries such as brick kilns, pig farms, fish ponds, and fruit tree planting, and has also achieved remarkable results. On May 31, 1975, the "Sichuan Daily" published an investigation report on the production team of the canteen with the headline of "taking grain as the key link, raising agriculture with sidelines, and developing in an all-round way". For a time, the production team of the lower canteen became famous and became an advanced model of the "agricultural village" in Sichuan Province at that time, and there was an endless stream of visitors.

The spring breeze of reform blows "the richest village in the province"Although it has become an advanced model in the country, the people in the canteen have not stood still. In 1978, taking advantage of the spring breeze of reform and opening up, the lower canteen brigade began to prepare for the construction of the first real village-run enterprise - the lower canteen brigade qu distillery, which was also a business opportunity that Yang Zhiguo smelled.

Luo Shihe, who is nearly 60 years old, has served as the secretary of the party branch of the Dream of Red Mansions Community Village for many years. From his experiences as a young child and the word of mouth of the village elders, he learned about the winery's past and present. Luo Shihe told the New Yellow River reporter that when Yang Zhiguo first proposed this idea, it still caused controversy. "At that time, setting up a distillery was a complete fantasy for a group of farmers, and it was an adventure for the villagers to have no technology or foundation. ”
Perhaps convinced of Yang's experience and ability, the people in the cafeteria finally accepted the proposal. After the approval of the distillery construction plan, everyone's enthusiasm was very high. "If you don't have technology, you will learn from Wuliangye Xi, and if you don't have a workshop, you will 'smash' one with a steel drill and a hammer. ”
In 1979, the Lower Canteen Brigade Qu Distillery was officially established. Taking advantage of the unique natural resources and advantages, the distillery has produced a mellow and delicious koji liquor named "Biquan". However, because the name of the distillery is too "agricultural", the sales of koji sake are not very good. In 1982, the distillery was renamed "Yibin Minjiang Qu Distillery", and in the following years, through the distribution of local sugar and liquor companies, the "Biquan Daqu" and "Biquan Tequ" produced by the distillery once sold well, and quickly went out of Yibin and occupied a certain market in Chengdu, Shanghai and other places. "A lot of wine merchants came to the door to line up to get wine, and the people in the canteen also got a lot of benefits because of the winery, and some people had already bought a TV set at that time. ”
In 1986, under the leadership of Yang Zhiguo, the distillery embarked on the road of marriage with culture and changed its name to "Yibin Dream of Red Mansions Distillery". At that time, the Lower Canteen Brigade had also been renamed Lower Canteen Village. "Because of the combination with the culture of "Dream of Red Mansions", Yibin Dream of Red Mansions Winery has embarked on a broad road. Luo Shihe told reporters that after that, the Dream of Red Mansions Distillery and its series of "Dream Wine" and "Dream of Red Mansions Golden Wine" have won many awards in domestic and foreign exhibitions and have been widely acclaimed.

"It is precisely because of the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial spirit of the people of the lower canteen represented by Yang Zhiguo that the lower canteen village has been pushed to a higher platform. Luo Shihe said that in 1987, the total social output value of Xia Canteen Village reached more than 20.72 million yuan, becoming the richest and most powerful village in the province, and the per capita net income of the villagers was 3.2 times higher than the per capita net income of the rural areas of the province at that time. Moreover, there are a number of "Dongfeng" and "Jiefang" trucks and walk-behind tractors in the whole village, and the total output value of the transportation industry has reached more than 890,000 yuan, which is more than 40 times that before the reform and opening up. ”
The "vanguard of rural reform" has regained its gloryFor a long time after that, the Dream of Red Mansions Winery entered a golden period of development, and the distillery also led to a significant improvement in the living standards of farmers, and the villagers not only had flower and grass tables and laundry tables in front of their doors, but also watches, bicycles, and color TVs were successively "moved" to their homes by the villagers, showing a prosperous scene of a new countryside.
However, in the turn of the times, Dream of Red Mansions, as a village collective enterprise, finally failed to seize the "outlet" and was overturned by the wave of reform.
In 2001, the village was officially renamed as Dream of Red Mansions Village. Until 2004, Dream of Red Mansions Winery still failed to survive the crisis, and due to operational difficulties, it had to seek asset restructuring. After going around again for more than ten years, the Dream of Red Mansions Distillery has attracted investment under the leadership of the Xuzhou District Party Committee and the District Government, and introduced Yibin Yongle Gujiao Liquor Co., Ltd. to implement strategic reorganization.
Nowadays, the Dream of Red Mansions Village has been renamed the Dream of Red Mansions Community Village, although the people and things of the year have long been slowly driven in the wheel of history, but along the village avenue all the way forward, the old site of the lower canteen brigade, the former residence of Yang Zhiguo, the old wine cellar of the winery and other old traces are still clearly visible.

Luo Lin said that since 2005, the village has set up a special education incentive fund to encourage villagers' children to enter university. "All the children of villagers who are admitted to colleges and universities above the college level will be rewarded accordingly. Not only that, there are nearly 1,200 villagers in the village, and each villager's annual medical insurance premium for urban and rural residents is paid by the village. All female villagers over the age of 50 and male villagers over the age of 60 received pensions through the resettlement of landless peasants from farming to non-social security.
Luo Lin said that in the past 45 years of reform and opening up, the community of Dream of Red Mansions has achieved transformation and development, forming an endless rural development ecology. "In the future, we will lead the villagers to rely on the development of the village's liquor enterprises and Yibin High-tech Industrial Park, and strive to increase the collective economic income of the village, so that the villagers can live a better life. ”
