On December 16, Sidu Town, Longchuan County, Heyuan City, held the groundbreaking ceremony of Longchuan County Hecheng Agricultural Cattle Breeding Base.
It is reported that Longchuan County Hecheng Agricultural Cattle Base is located in the Lion Pit of Zhangbei Village, Sidu Town, and plans to invest in three phases, with an investment of 80 million yuan and a total area of about 50,000 square meters. The first phase of the project is based on the perennial stock of 2,000 breeding cattle and 1,500 cattle slaughtered and self-farrowed commercial cattle, with a construction area of more than 10,000 square meters, including an organic fertilizer plant with a construction area of 2,000 square meters, mainly to raise Simmental and Angus cattle, and the project is expected to have an annual inventory of about 3,000 heads after three phases of investment.
After the project is put into operation, a workshop for enriching the people will be set up to drive the employment of the surrounding people, increase agricultural income, and increase local fiscal revenue through deep processing, forming a situation of internal circulation to drive overall social benefits.
