In the high-altitude areas of Yushu Prefecture and Haibei Prefecture in Qinghai, the snow caused the roads to freeze, causing more than 500 vehicles to be stranded. Affected by snowfall, low temperature, rain and snow freezing, 41 road sections in 12 provinces and regions including Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Guizhou have been closed and are speeding up recovery.
