The savior aura is no longer there, and some NE players have given up on fire demons

author:Altar Intelligence Bureau

When the 1.36.1 patch was updated, few people would have thought that the enhancement of the Fire Demon would cause an earthquake in the Demon Altar. Isn't it just that the Burning Man splits 2 times less, and the ash burning skill is 3 points less magic (the ultimate volcano eruption is automatically ignored), what's so strange?

However, this humble hero has a wonderful chemistry in the hands of two top masters, Moon and Lyn. Some time ago, Moon and Lyn successively wrote a new job to deal with UD with the fire demon as the core, and used this to pull down the big demon king Happy and create an incredible "fire demon myth". What's more, the fire demon was dubbed the "Happy Killer".

Seeing such an "imba" fire demon, players from all walks of life have followed suit, and for a while, the magic arena has entered the era of national fire demons, and even HUM and UD players are also developing new fire demon assignments, and fire demons have become the version of the answer.

However, when the other players used the fire demon on their own, they found that it was not as strong as they imagined. The most typical example is color and card number, using DH and WD to play UD, they can still struggle for a long time (and occasionally win), but using Fire Demon to fight Ou Huang is no different from Bai Zhi. The three-set match of the color fire demon against the European Emperor &120 did not add up to more than 20 minutes, and the card number was also suppressed throughout the court, which is completely different from the Moon use.

This is not only the case for Chinese NE players, but also for foreign NE players such as Lawliet, ReMinD, and Dise. Not only can't they beat Happy and 120, but they can't beat Laby, and ReMinD's use of Fire Demon is not even the opponent of the Ten Temples.

Someone may want to say: "The other players didn't use Fire Demon well because they didn't understand the essence of this tactic, and the details were not as good as Moon's, and the new homework was not so easy to copy." ”

However, Moon's own win rate of using Fire Demon to fight UD has also continued to decline. After the double kill of Happy in the Ancient Tree Cup, Moon was quickly avenged by the Emperor (losing twice in a row). Recently, Moon lost 2-3 to Laby in the Tease Cup. As the game progresses, UD players gradually find ways to deal with the fire devil (various pairs of mines, starting Lich, etc.), and the NE fire devil's system seems to be getting weaker and weaker.

Looking at it this way, it seems that it really can't be blamed for the other players not being able to copy their homework, and it is difficult for even Moon to win with Fire Demon, let alone other players.

As a result, some NE players, such as Dise, have begun to give up using the Fire Demon starter and turn their heads to use DH, which they are better at, so that at least they won't lose too ugly (Dise won the B2W final by 1 point).

On the other hand, Lyn had only beaten Happy once with the Fire Demon, and shortly after that, the UD player used the Spider Flow to put the Fire Demon back on the cold bench. Fortunately, the new version of the headhunter is powerful enough, and without the fire demon, Lyn can also defeat Happy head-on. Other ORC players are not so lucky, especially Soin, no matter what tactics he uses, he can't escape the fate of being beaten by UD.

In general, the new Fire Demon job is more of a surprise to the opponent at the beginning of the version, and does not fundamentally change the landscape of OvU or NvU, and once UD players adapt and find a way to deal with it, it will be difficult to be as effective as before. Counting on the Fire Demon to be the savior doesn't seem realistic now.

However, the starting Fire Demon playing UD is a new tactic after all, and there is still a lot of room to develop. Moon is also constantly optimizing his fire demon system, for example, he will no longer explode deer without brains, but will have changes in the two original exploding elven dragons, maybe the moon god will be able to find a way to defeat the enemy in the future.

In addition, due to the fear of the fire demon, UD was forced to abandon the dog flow start, which appeared to be more passive in the face of headhunters. Looking at it this way, the fire demon at least played a strategic deterrent role in OvU, forcing UD players to give up their strongest moves.
