How to further strengthen the village collective economy has become a difficult problem faced by Peng Ling, the first secretary of the general party branch of the Dongguan Municipal People's Congress Office in Zhanru Village.
"Zhanru Village has an area of 27,000 acres of mountains and forests, and a cultivated area of 2,530 acres. Considering that there is a lot of forest land, the cultivation of edible fungi under the forest can be developed. Qujiang District has built a provincial-level modern agricultural industrial park for edible fungi, and Galaxy Biotechnology Co., Ltd., an enterprise in the park, is a leading enterprise in Dongguan enterprises investing in the edible fungus industry, so we decided to develop the edible fungus industry. Peng Ling said that the village has scientifically formulated a three-year plan for industrial development, established a village-run enterprise, and taken "projectization" as the starting point to conscientiously do a good job in "native products" articles. In 2022, the construction of the first phase of 5 standard greenhouses will be completed. During the same period, 20,000 mushroom sticks were planted, more than 30,000 catties of fresh mushrooms were harvested, and the income was more than 70,000 yuan.

Since the beginning of this year, around the "Millions and Thousands Project", Zhanru Village has taken the initiative to expand the planting scale and tried to plant more than 6,000 red Ganoderma lucidum mushroom sticks. More than 40 catties of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder and more than 100 catties of red Ganoderma lucidum were harvested. The planting of two seasons of edible fungi has increased the income of the village collective economy by more than 100,000 yuan. Peng Ling said that in the future, Zhanru Village will continue to focus on the edible fungus industry, improve the quality of wild edible fungi, expand the scale of cultivated edible fungi, and accelerate the intensive processing of edible fungi. At the same time, extend the industrial chain, build characteristic poultry farms, and continuously enhance the competitiveness and sustainable development of rural industries.

Not far from Zhanru Village, the mushroom enterprises in the provincial modern agricultural industrial park of edible fungi are carrying out production and processing. Walking into the mushroom production workshop of Guangdong Muhe Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. in the park, the workers of the enterprise are stepping up the harvesting, warehousing and packaging of edible mushrooms, and they are very busy.
The company is subordinate to the provincial key agricultural leader Shaoguan City Enterprise Galaxy Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tangxia, Dongguan), which is a factory cultivation and mushroom stick production enterprise actively introduced by the Dongguan Shao Headquarters, mainly focusing on the production, processing, sales and circulation of edible mushrooms such as Nanhua straw mushroom and Pleurotus eryngii. At present, there are 31 edible fungus production greenhouses, and supporting fungus stick centers. Through the model of "company + farmer + base", it provides mushroom sticks and technical guidance for edible fungus cultivation farmers in northern Guangdong, and drives more than 2,000 farmers to increase their income.
"Qujiang has a long history of mushroom cultivation and superior planting conditions, which is very suitable for the development of mushroom industry. Huang Qinghua, chairman of Shaoguan Galaxy Biotechnology Co., Ltd., said that under the guidance of the help team, the company transferred the edible fungus industry to Qujiang at the headquarters, and now Shaoguan Galaxy Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Muhe Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. have more than 700 employees, 99% of whom are locals, effectively helping local labor employment.
It is understood that the provincial modern agricultural industrial park of edible fungi was jointly built by Changping Town, Dongguan City and Qujiang District Government in 2019. In recent years, on the basis of jointly promoting the expansion of the edible fungus industrial park, the Dongguan team in Qujiang District has improved the effect of the edible fungus industry from all aspects, giving full play to the advantages of the edible fungus industrial park, focusing on the joint construction of villages and enterprises, strengthening the collective economy, and exploring the extension of edible fungus factory and scientific and technological production to towns and villages.
