Jason Momoa, who currently plays superhero Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe, is uncertain about his future in the franchise. In an interview with ET, Momoa said that Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom could mark his last role in the role.
"I don't necessarily want it to end," he said...... But I don't think it's really an option. He revealed that DC's current head of film, James Gunn and Peter Safland, are discussing. Momoa hinted that the two men were inclined to start "a new affair of their own." This could mean that all roles will replace actors, including him.
"I mean, the truth is, if the audience likes it, then it's possible," Momoa said. [But] right now, I'm not optimistic about the possibilities. I love this character and want to play it longer...... If there is a place for me in their world, I would be happy to be a part of it. ”
