Recently, the Guangzhou Shijing Street Drug Control Office and the Shijing Street Anti-drug Volunteer Service Team launched an international volunteer service anti-drug publicity activity at the entrance of the Huanggang Elderly Activity Center.
At the event site, anti-drug volunteers popularized the basic characteristics and types of drugs to residents by displaying simulated drugs, anti-drug propaganda display boards, and distributing brochures, and carried out on-site publicity around what drugs are, the harm of drugs, and how to identify drugs, so as to guide residents to have a deep understanding of drugs, and explained some common and easy-to-understand drug recognition and prevention knowledge, focusing on how to prevent new drugs, such as: "etomidate, laughing gas, smart drugs", etc. Let residents receive anti-drug education "zero distance". We call on everyone to master the knowledge of drug recognition, drug rejection, and drug prevention, so as to reduce the harm of drugs, resolutely put an end to all drug-related activities, stay away from drug-prone places, and use typical examples to make the masses clearly understand the harm of drugs to individuals, families, and society, and remind residents to abide by discipline and law, and establish a correct outlook on life and values. At the same time, the residents of the district were full of praise for the anti-drug propaganda activities, and expressed that they would consciously participate in the national anti-drug war and contribute their own strength to the anti-drug cause.
A total of more than 100 copies of anti-drug propaganda leaflets were distributed in this anti-drug publicity activity, so that the residents can further realize that drug abuse not only endangers personal health and family harmony, but also affects social stability, national security, and the rise and fall of the nation.
