At 15:00 p.m. on December 14, the snow in the downtown area of our city gradually increased. The Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau urgently raised the level of snow removal response, immediately mobilized all units under the bureau and the Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group to increase investment in snow removal manpower and equipment, and organized 1,350 people from 13 emergency snow removal reserve teams in various districts to arrive in the designated responsibility area to carry out snow removal work. According to the snow-clearing mode led by machinery and manual cooperation, snow removal operations are carried out on the main roads, park squares, bus stations and railway stations in the central urban area. Up to now, a total of 4,378 emergency snow removal personnel have been dispatched, 16 snow melting agent spreaders, 33 snow brushes, 27 snow shovels and 20 small equipment have been deployed, 101 foreign forklifts and 113 cleaning vehicles of various sizes have been mobilized to carry out snow clearing operations, and the snow clearing work on the main roads in the main urban area is progressing in a steady and orderly manner.
In the next step, our bureau will work closely with the Municipal Meteorological Bureau, always pay attention to the snowfall situation, strengthen road inspections, and make every effort to organize road snow clearing and transportation after the snowfall stops in the second half of the night, so as to ensure that the emergency snow removal task is completed before tomorrow morning to ensure the safety and smoothness of the city's main and secondary roads.
