The draw for the Badminton Federation Tour Finals was released: Shi Yuqi had poor luck and continued to be a strong opponent, Chen Yufei and Han Yue were in the same group

On December 11, the draw ceremony and annual award ceremony for the BWF World Tour Finals were held. As the last major event of the year, this year's Grand Final will be held in Hangzhou from December 13th to 17th.

The mixed doubles draw was the first to take place, with the two national pairs seeded No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, as follows: Feng Yanzhe/Huang Dongping, Yuta Watanabe/Arisa Higashino, Chen Tangjie/Du Yiwei, Dechabo/Sasiri in Group B, Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong, Seo Seung Jae/Choi Yoo Hyun, Kim Won-ho/Zheng Na-eun, and Deng Junwen/Xie Yingxue.

In Women's Doubles, the Chinese pair of Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan and Liu Shengshu/Tan Ning were both drawn in Group A, along with Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara and Rahayu/Siti. The four pairs in Group B are Baek Ha Na/Lee So Hee, Naomi Matsuyama/Chiyo Shida, Kititarakul/Ba Jong Jae, Kim So-young/Kong Hee Yong.

In Men's Doubles, the Chinese pair were also grouped, with Leung Wai Hang/Wang Chang and Liu Yuchen/Ou Xuanyi both in Group A, along with Tse Tingfeng/So Wei Yi and Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi. The four pairs of players in Group B are Alfian/Ardianto, Kang Minhyuk/Seo Seung-jae, Astrup/Rasmussen, and Fekri/Mlana.

In Women's Singles, China's Chen Yufei and Han Yue are both in Group B, along with Ma Lin and Zhang Beiwen. Group A is led by Ahn Se Ying and Tai Tzu Ying, and the other two are Kim Ga-eun and Mariska.

In the men's singles, the two Chinese players, Shi Yuqi and Li Shifeng, are in Group A and Group B, respectively. Shi Yuqi's opponents in the same group are Kodai Naraoka, Ginting and Axelsen, and Li Shifeng was drawn in the same group as Jonatan, Antonsen and Kunlavut.
