At noon on May 8, 1943, the Japanese army dog robbers fled to the bank of the Lotus Pond River, and one of my wife's old fled from Nanxian County and came here, her name was Duan Xiaolan, a girl who had just turned 20 years old. So we hid together, but soon we were all caught by the devils.
When the devil saw that she was a young and beautiful girl, he wanted to vent his animal desires, but she resolutely refused. At first, the two devils forcibly dragged her to the cotton field to commit violence, and she struggled to break free from the opponent's hands, jumping into the nearby pond nearby, and defending her integrity with her life. But the devil refused to give up, and immediately chased after her, dragged her up from the pond, and held her down. At this time, Duan Xiaolan, who would rather die than give in, still resisted desperately, biting the devil's hand with her mouth, and the devil screamed in pain. When the devil couldn't give up his desires, he raised his bayonet and stabbed her in the abdomen. Immediately, blood poured out of the knife, and she fell to the ground and rolled in pain. However, the inhumane Japanese soldiers stood aside and laughed, and then brandished their bayonets and stabbed her indiscriminately. She died tragically under the butcher's knife of the devil. When she died, she was left with 32 knife holes.
At the same time, the Japanese gathered us who had been caught and forced us to kneel. How could I, as a teacher, be insulted like this? I stood and reasoned with the Japanese soldiers, but before I could say anything, the devil kicked me in the back, and then raised his bayonet and stabbed me in the back, and I fainted in a pool of blood. But then I woke up. At this time, what came into my eyes was a strangely shaped corpse all over the ground, so miserable. Afterwards, I forced myself to move to the nearby Xiang's nun's house, where I hid in a pigpen and covered it with straw. Not long after hiding, I saw a young couple from our school rushing here in a panic, holding a child under the age of one in their arms.
Neither teacher escaped the clutches of the enemy. Before she could enter the nun's house, the female teacher was grabbed by several Japanese soldiers who attacked from the side, forcibly pushed into the house and raped. When the husband saw that his wife was humiliated, he was not so angry that he scolded the beast enemy. He put down the child in his hand and decided to rush into the house at the risk of death to save his relatives from the tiger's mouth. As soon as the Japanese army rushed to the door, they stabbed him to death with a few bayonets. Seven or eight Japanese soldiers, after venting their desires, grabbed their children and threw them into the air vigorously, and then scrambled to raise their bayonets and pointed them at the innocent child with the sharp tips of their knives. The Japanese army is a beast that exterminates humanity.
A 30-year-old woman named Zhou near our school was gang-raped by six devils and lay on the ground for a long time unable to move. Not to be reconciled, the devil forced an old man in his 70s to commit adultery with this dying woman. The old man refused, and the devil forced him to lick the dirt on his lower body.
On the morning of 9 a.m., the devil fled to the factory cellar, and I was worried that my family would be poisoned, so I dragged my injured body and went through all kinds of hardships and dangers to return to the factory cellar to find my wife and children. Later, although my family was saved, my compatriots here suffered a lot.
From his wife, he learned that Yuchengyuan (now Yucheng Village) had also become a slaughterhouse for devils. My wife's uncle, Duan Xiaolan's father, Duan Zhongli, fled here from Nanxian and was brutally killed by the Japanese army. My wife's aunt and nephew, Duan Xiaoshu, was also killed by the Japanese army on the river beach here. Duan Xiaoshu had read a lot of books, and he was a hot-blooded young man, and he was brave and unyielding in the face of the enemy's obscenity, and the Japanese army recognized him as a "Diao Min," and slashed him from his head with an Oriental sword, and then cut him into two pieces at the waist with a single sword.
On 11 July, the Japanese army seized more than 40 refugees and local civilians at Yuchengyuan, tied them together with ropes, and escorted them to the outer river beach. After the enemy swept through with machine guns, they found that those who were not dead were slashed with Oriental knives, and none of the 40 people survived, and seven or eight of them were separated from their heads, and some of their skulls rolled off a long distance.
And that's not all. After the Japanese army discovered it, they immediately trapped the people with the surname Gao, and then set fire to the house all around. Within a few tens of minutes, more than 100 of these compatriots were burned alive. The Japanese army, who had exterminated humanity, looked at the raging flames and heard the screams of despair, and they clapped their palms together and walked away...
