Preface
Since I started Tang DMI, I have long been Xi to the car mode of charging once a month every day, and the pure electric (EV) mode is quieter and more economical. Over the course of a year and a half, the total mileage is nearly 4.4 km, about 3.5 km in EV mode, and a small part is in HEV mode for long-distance running.
Every time I run a long distance back to my hometown, I am more sad that charging is a big trouble, I don't have a charging pile at home, and the first thing to go to the public charging pile is the distance, and the second is that the price is not cheap. I'm used to charging at a discount of six cents, and I really can't get my hands on the electricity bill for more than one degree.
A little clever said, didn't you buy a car with a car to charge? I thought, yes! Quickly take it out and try it, plug it in at three o'clock in the afternoon, prompting me to charge it for 12 hours to charge from 25% to 100%, 18 kilowatt-hours of electricity can not be charged overnight, I just gave up. I checked it, this product is just ordinary AC charging, and the maximum power does not exceed 2kw, which is strange if it is not slow.
So I thought about taking advantage of the big promotion to change myself to a car charger, so that when I want to charge when I travel or go back to my hometown, I can quickly and effectively fill up the battery. This happened to be the double eleven before the green car charging gun, the maximum support of 3.5kw charging, less than six hours to fill my big white sugar, very in line with my needs.
Unboxing with details
The simple packaging box, the front is the appearance of the charging gun, the familiar brand logo of the green link and the main features of this charging gun: scheduled charging, four current mode switching, dynamic monitoring of charging status and Thermal Guard intelligent temperature control technology.
This portable charging gun is designed with 16A three-pin AC plug and control box integrated, and the preferred national standard oxygen-free pure copper cable with a length of 10 meters ensures safety and convenience for users to have enough cable length in places where it is inconvenient to get electricity.
The charging gun head is very solid, made of flame-retardant materials, and feels good after the surface is frosted. The gun head also has an integrated dust plug, so you don't have to worry about the charging head being pierced by foreign objects when storing.
There is a mechanical lock button on the top of this charging head, and the charging gun is locked at the same time after the big white sugar locks the car, so you don't have to worry about being touched. The gun head is a new national standard 7-hole AC gun head, which can be used directly by plugging in the big white sugar, and the mainstream new energy vehicles on the market are basically compatible, such as Tesla, ideal, Xiaopeng, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, etc.
The size of the portable charging gun control box is not large, and it looks similar to the charger of the small electric donkey. The panel supports touch control, and the control box supports IP67 waterproof, so you don't have to worry about rain when you use it outdoors. The back is printed with detailed parameter information, and the upper and lower sides are equipped with a hanging hole design, which can be wall-mounted.

The Greenlink portable charging cable uses a thickened cable, compared with the conventional 2.5 square 16A cable, this cable that is similar to my finger provides more assurance of safety.

Charging measurement
I felt the benefits of a 10-meter line length when I tried it, and I live on a high floor and I can't test it myself. So after communicating with the security guard at the entrance and exit of the parking lot, I borrowed the wall plug of their security room to try the green link with the car charge. The seven-hole charging cable and my Tang just fit directly without additional transfers.
After the charging cable is plugged in, the yellow indicator will immediately jump to indicate that the charging cable is ready to be activated.
I forgot that my BYD APP was set to start at a timer, and the screen of the green link with the car charge prompted to wait for authorization.
After starting charging, you can see the real-time charging status on the screen, and after the charging is turned on, the display interface will be automatically switched, and the charging time and power can be directly seen through the screen. At the same time, you can also switch the charging gear on the control box, which has 8A, 10A, 13A, and 16A gears. If you plug in a 16A socket, you can set a charging gear of up to 16A to increase the charging power to 3.5KW, so that the charging speed will be faster.
The green car charging gun can also support appointment charging, my car machine APP comes with this function, I didn't do research, if the car machine does not have a friend who has an appointment charging function, then the green car charging function is very convenient, the valley charger is indeed a real discount!
The included storage bag is very good, after using it, roll up the cable and put it in the storage bag, it will be a mess if you don't open the trunk.

Overall, the experience I received from the green charging gun was satisfactory. The appearance and workmanship are very good, and it looks more textured than the original charging gun of the car. Multiple security guarantees and double temperature control protection make users more assured. The 10-meter charging cable length is more free to use, and it will not be troubled by the distance of the socket, and there is no need to transfer the terminal board to cause safety hazards. Personally, car owners who have certain requirements for charging efficiency can consider getting one of these on-board chargers, and they can take out the on-board charger to replenish their power anytime and anywhere when they travel or return to their hometowns.
