2023 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Fok Yingdong, a patriotic businessman, and his memorial hall was unveiled on December 2.

It is reported that Mr. Fok Yingdong was born in 1923, his father was a fisherman and unfortunately died of cancer, during which his two elder brothers fell into the water due to a fire, forcing his mother to take Fok Yingdong and two daughters ashore to make a living, and Fok Yingdong started from a coolie and opened a grocery store to earn the first pot of gold. During the period of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, Fok Yingdong secretly transported supplies to the mainland at the risk of being arrested by the British Navy, and in the 80s, he was the first batch of businessmen to invest in the mainland.
In terms of marriage, the "Qing Dynasty Laws" used in Hong Kong at that time legally took concubines, and Fok Yingdong successively married three wives, Lu Yanni, Feng Jianni, and Lin Shuduan, and gave birth to 13 children, but it was ordered that only the big house could be used in politics and business, and the rest of the children should be honest and responsible.
However, because of the large number of children, there were two property disputes, and after the great reconciliation in 2013, they will fight for the real estate in Nansha again in 2022, and finally reach a settlement.
Fok Yingdong Memorial Hall is located at the northern foot of Dajiao Mountain in Nansha, Guangzhou, covering an area of 19,000 square meters, with the theme of "fist and heart, Yin Yin Sangzi love", to promote Mr. Fok Yingdong's patriotism, love for the hometown and dare to be the first responsibility and spirit.
