In order to actively implement the spirit of the "Learning and Development Guide for Children Aged 3-6" and improve the practical ability of preschool teachers to organize and carry out outdoor sports games, Yiyang County No. 3 Kindergarten carried out a two-week sports game open class display activity from November 23 to December 1, 2023.

A total of 22 teachers participated in the open class demonstration activities, and the teachers carried out sports activities with a full mental state, through creating interesting teaching situations, demonstrations, explanations, thinking, exploration, etc., so that children can master the essentials of movement in the game, practice motor skills, and develop motor ability. Novel, vivid and interesting teaching methods and novel activity equipment have brought new feelings and experiences to the children, and fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the children to participate in the activities.
Invite parents
In the process of listening to the class, not only our teachers, but also parents and friends, each teacher will invite 2-4 parents in the class to watch together before class, so that parents can understand our kindergarten curriculum more intuitively and play an exemplary role.
Lead the way
Principal Yan and Principal Gong respectively brought us a demonstration class, Principal Gong is a health and physical education class with fire protection as the main line, so that children can understand the knowledge of fire protection more intuitively through games. Taking mental health education as an opportunity, Mr. Yan conducted a health field activity class, and the whole activity revolved around the picture book story to play games, so that children can help the tree find friends, so as to educate children about mental health.
Self-assessment and other evaluation sessions
After each teacher's open class, everyone will discuss this activity. Before the evaluation, the teachers first reflected on the activities they organized, and the other teachers evaluated and analyzed each teaching activity from multiple dimensions according to their own feelings of listening to the class, and said the advantages and shortcomings. Through lesson evaluation, teachers can find and point out the strengths and weaknesses of teaching activities, and the opinions and suggestions put forward by everyone will help teachers in the class to further improve and develop.
"A single flower is not spring, a hundred flowers bloom in spring." The development and growth of the team is inseparable from the efforts of individuals and the help of teammates. The development of this activity not only provides a platform for teachers to show themselves, but also creates a good interactive atmosphere for all teachers to learn from each other and communicate with each other. I believe that through this open class observation activity, all teachers in our school will definitely go to a higher level in future teaching activities!
