The Venerable Master Xuanhua immediately asked them to get up, sat down, and reassured, "Don't panic, talk slowly if you have something!"
Xia Zunxiang took a sip of water, stabilized his emotions, pointed to the old woman, and said to the Venerable Master Xuanhua:
"She has a daughter, who is also a refuge disciple of the Venerable Master. Suddenly, he became ill, and he was very sick. For seven days he did not eat, drank water, or spoke. As soon as anyone approached her, she would go berserk and beat people, begging Master to save her. ”
After saying this, the old woman immediately knelt down and kept kowtowing to the Venerable Master Xuanhua.
Born in 1918 in Shuangcheng County, Jilin Province, the Venerable Master Xuanhua was a disciple of the old Zen monk Xuyun.
"Saving a life, better than creating a tenth-level floating slaughter". The Venerable Master Xuanhua didn't say a word, got up and prepared to go out.
A disciple named Han Gangji next to the Venerable Master had a hesitant look on his face. He called out to the Venerable Master Xuanhua, but he stopped talking.
The Venerable Master Xuanhua knew that he had a little supernatural power. And he said to him, "If you have any words, say them boldly, and it does not matter."
Only then did Han Gangji whisper: "Master, don't go, it's life-threatening!"
It turned out that Han Gangji made an observation: he found that this was a witch with great magical powers and the ability to fly and change to make trouble.
She has two magic weapons: one is a black hat, as long as this hat is put on by someone, the person's divine consciousness will be immediately controlled by her. The second magic weapon is the two round balls. She hits the ball, and the person who hits it dies instantly.
Han Gangji felt that this demon goddess was vast, and even if the Venerable Master Xuanhua went, it would be fierce and unpredictable.
But the Venerable Master Xuanhua did not have the slightest fear, and he said to his disciples, "First, I would rather lay down my life than save my refuge disciples, and I will not die without saving her; second, I will also save this witch so that she will not continue to do evil; and third, I will save all living beings in the world, and if I do not subdue her now, more people will suffer in the future."
So the Venerable Master Xuanhua took Han Gangji and some other disciples to the patient's house. This is a small farmhouse courtyard, the courtyard is full of men and women, and when they see the big monk coming, they all consciously make a way.
The Venerable Master Xuanhua and the others walked towards the inner room, only to see a female patient kneeling on the ground, her buttocks pouting and looking ugly.
She kept kowtowing to the kang, and when she saw the Venerable Master Xuanhua, she let out a scream, her face showed a look of panic, her eyes widened, and her head kept swinging.
His family invited the Venerable Master Xuanhua to sit down in another room and told him in detail about the cause of his illness.
About seven or eight days ago. There was an old woman in her 50s, next to a lonely grave, crying incessantly. She cried one after another, beating her chest, old tears were crisscrossed, and her cry was sad.
The kind man next to her advised her not to cry: "If you are tired, go to my house and drink saliva." So the old woman came back with the good Samaritan.
But the strange thing is that when she walked under the walls on all sides of this tun, she did not dare to come in. There was a door god at the door, so she didn't dare to come in, so she cried outside this tun again.
At this time, Xia Zunxiang's carriage came back from outside, and as soon as the horse saw the old woman, he was frightened and rushed straight to the gate. Seeing this, the others quickly opened the door, and the old woman ran in.
There were three or four people in the courtyard surrounding the old woman. The old woman said she didn't have a last name, and when she asked her what her name was, she said I didn't have a name either. When I asked her again, she said I was a dead man. Why do you think this old woman is so strange?
What was surprising was that she walked to a wall more than eight feet high in Xia Wenshan's house, and suddenly threw the black hat in her hand into the wall, and she jumped into it from the wall more than eight feet high at once.
Everyone was dumbfounded: Could it be that this old woman in her 50s is a martial arts master who can fly eaves and walk on walls?
"That's not right!" Xia Wenshan's son reacted suddenly, he seemed to sense something.
He hurriedly ran to the door and shouted into the house: "Mom, Mom, the old stupid lady is here, don't be afraid!"
Xia Wenshan's mother and daughter both believe in Buddhism, she looked back, only to see a black shadow flashing, and found that the old woman had already reached the edge of the kang, and her body had climbed halfway to the kang, and the mother said loudly: "Who are you looking for?" The old woman stared at the big eyes and said nothing.
The mother and daughter immediately chanted the mantra of great compassion aloud. As the incantation sounded, the old woman was sore, as if drunk, and slowly slipped to the ground, lying under the eaves of the kang, and remained motionless like a dead man.
When the village chief heard the news, he lifted the old woman up with one hand, lifted her out of the courtyard, put her down, and let her go. Who knew that she had only walked a few dozen meters away, and when the village chief turned to leave, the old woman followed back.
This time, the village chief is not welcome. With two people and guns, he sent the old woman outside the tun and yelled at her to leave. While the old woman was still standing, the village chief unceremoniously fired two shots into the air.
The old woman hurried away in fright, never daring to look back. Although the old woman is gone, Xia Wenshan's daughter is sick.
After hearing about the cause of this illness, the Venerable Master Xuanhua immediately decided to summon this witch.
It's easy to ask God to send God, but it's hard to send away the witch, what will happen if you invite her?
Everyone couldn't help but sweat for the Venerable Master Xuanhua. I saw that Master Xuanhua had no fear on his face, calmly arranging his disciples to gather around the room.
Then he sat upright in his chair and recited the words in his mouth, and he recited the lengyan mantra.
After a while, I saw a fishy smell coming, and the wishful witch was really here. As soon as she came in and saw the Venerable Master Xuanhua, she felt bad, as if the end was coming.
She desperately threw her magic hat on the Venerable Man's head, but she couldn't throw it on the Venerable Master's head, and the hat failed.
She took out the round ball again, and tried to hit the Venerable Master, but she couldn't hit the Venerable Master. Both magic weapons failed, and the witch was shocked, turned around and ran.
But there seems to be a big net laid around, east and west, north and south, up and down the four dimensions, all guarded by the eight divisions of the heavenly dragon, and she can't run anywhere.
There was no other way, so she had to surrender. He knelt down and pleaded with the Venerable Master to change his ways and not harm the crowd again. And he is willing to take refuge in the Dharma and become a disciple of the Buddha.
The Venerable Master immediately took three refuges for her and gave her the name "Vajra Ruyi Woman." From then on, she went with the Venerable Master to save people everywhere and became a member of the Buddha's family.
