The venue of this year's TGA Winter Finals is located in Shougang No. 1 Blast Furnace · SoReal Science Fiction Park retains the original structure and industrial architecture of the blast furnace to the greatest extent in the design of the arena, and the infield is designed in the style of cyberpunk science fiction, with the stage and large screen of professional e-sports, which perfectly integrates the historical heritage of Shijingshan Shougang Park with the development of the new era.
As an important part of "E-sports Beijing", Shijingshan District regards e-sports as a new track to promote the development of the cultural industry, and actively guides the convergence of industrial elements, including the "China E-sports Sports Development Center", and national brands have settled here. In 2022, Shijingshan District's cultural and related industries will officially enter a 100-billion-level industrial cluster, of which the revenue of the digital cultural industry represented by games and animation will account for more than ninety percent, providing a solid foundation for the development of the e-sports industry. At the same time, Shijingshan District has successively issued a series of special policies for the cultural industry, such as the "Interim Measures for Promoting the Development of Cultural and Related Industries Focusing on Digital Creativity in Shijingshan District" and the "Implementation Measures for Promoting the Development of the Game Industry in Shijingshan District".
In October this year, the Beijing E-sports Innovation and Development Conference with the theme of "Digital Beijing, E-sports Future" was held in Shougang Park, and Shijingshan District and Tencent signed a contract on the project of "TGA Tencent E-sports Games Landing in Shijingshan District" at the conference to help Shijingshan District's industrial transformation and economic development. This largest-scale comprehensive e-sports event in China will further enhance Shijingshan's brand influence in the e-sports circle, help it build a "four-in-one" e-sports industry ecosystem, and build an "e-sports city".
Under the vision of building an "e-sports city", Shijingshan has been working hard to achieve this, Zhou Peicheng, head of the Shijingshan District Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Center, told reporters: "In the future, Shijingshan District should focus on the development of a four-in-one e-sports industry system, and further promote the sustainable and healthy development of the e-sports industry in Shijingshan District by landing e-sports events, holding e-sports activities, building e-sports venues, and absorbing e-sports teams, so as to create a new business card with the characteristics of 'E-sports City'." After more than ten years of development, TGA Tencent E-sports Games has become a comprehensive professional e-sports platform. Previously, TGA has held competitions in Chengdu, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and other cities, from city landmarks appearing on the field through VR, to a series of actions such as adding team logos to folk intangible cultural heritage elements, "customized" a unique local immersive arena. The seven major events of this year's TGA Tencent E-sports Games Winter Finals will be held from November 23 to December 3. This year's TGA Winter Finals invited esports players from South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries and regions to gather together to compete with local Chinese players. Today, TGA has become an international competition stage, bringing together top esports players from home and abroad to jointly show the charm and style of e-sports multiculturalism.
Among the seven major events, the Call of Duty Mobile Fall Invitational is the third CODM international event, which is composed of 6 teams from the China server region, 4 teams from the Garena region, and 2 teams from the Japan region, and will start the quarterfinals from November 23rd to 26th.
Dark Zone Breakout Kuaishou K League S2 is the second Dark Zone Breakout event authorized by Rubik's Cube Studio and hosted by Kuaishou Games, which will start a two-day schedule on November 30. Previously, a total of 18 teams from the professional team and the anchor team launched the online competition, and the top 4 teams gathered in Beijing to participate in the third Pioneer Cup to compete for the final championship honor.
The Honor of Kings College Support Tournament jointly launched by TGA and Migu, the double-track Beijing offline finals will be held on December 3, and the KPL team will be invited to watch the game on the same stage at the finals, and the champion team will go to the KIC site of the Honor of Kings World Championship Cup KIC as "Migu Support Ambassadors" to cheer for the KPL teams that are about to compete in the 2023 World Championship KIC.
In addition to the above projects, this year's Winter Finals will usher in more exciting events. Among them, FC ONLINE and FC Football World TGA Asia Invitational Tournament will be held on December 1-2, and the first national server event of Ark of Destiny - Yaoshi Cup will be held from December 2-3 from the quarterfinals to the finals.
