Yan Xishan, Han Fuyu, and Zhang Zongchang took a group photo, and later Han Fuyu was shot and Zhang Zongchang was assassinated

If you don't tell you about these three people in the photo, do you know who they are? I guess not many people know.

Below, Shi Jun will introduce you one by one!

In the photo, from left to right, they are Yan Xishan, Han Fuyu, and Zhang Zongchang.

Yan Xishan was born in 1883, with the name Baichuan and the number Longchi. Shanxi people. Yan Xishan studied in Japan in his early years, and was a student of the sixth phase of the Qing government, studying at the Japanese Army Non-commissioned Officer School. After graduating, he returned to China to serve as an infantry officer and an assistant military academy in the army. During his time in Japan, he was a member of the League. After the Wuchang Uprising, he was elected governor of Shanxi and began to control the military power of Shanxi. When Yuan Shikai was proclaimed emperor, he supported Yuan Shikai and won his trust. In the sixth year of the Republic of China (1917), Yan Xishan concurrently served as the governor of Shanxi Province and mastered the military and political power of Shanxi.

For a long time, Yan Xishan has traveled between the national army, our army, and the Japanese army with superb political skills, and it is not easy to sit firmly in the position of "King of Shanxi" in all the winds and waves. After 1949, he followed the old Chiang to Taiwan. He died in Taiwan in 1960 at the age of 77.

Han Fuyu was born in January 1890, the word Xiangfang, a native of Hebei Province. Han Fuyu was born in a poor family, and he didn't have enough food and clothing when he was a teenager. At the age of 19, he left his hometown and embarked on the road of "breaking through the Kanto" and began to fend for himself. In order to have enough to eat, he defected to the military camp and became a soldier. In the army, because of his literacy, he was appreciated by his superiors, and gradually grew from an ordinary soldier to an officer.

In addition to holding the army, he also served as chairman of the Henan provincial government and chairman of the Shandong provincial government. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he also served as the deputy commander of the Fifth Theater (the commander was Li Zongren), responsible for the defense of Shandong and the Yellow River.

Han Fuyu is one of the "Thirteen Taibao" under Feng Yuxiang, and has a good relationship with Zhang Zongchang. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he disobeyed Chiang Kai-shek's orders in order to preserve his strength and passively resist Japan. In January 1938, Chiang Kai-shek convened a military conference in Kaifeng, and Han Fuyu was arrested on the spot and finally executed.

Born in 1881, Zhang Zongchang was one of the warlord leaders and had long been entrenched in Shandong. In July 1925, he was appointed Governor of Shandong Province. At the beginning of 1926, he was appointed commander-in-chief of the Zhilu Allied Army. In August 1928, he was defeated and fled to Dalian and Japan to seek refuge. In 1932, he returned to China from Japan and lived in the Tianjin Concession. On September 3 of this year, Zhang Zongchang was assassinated and died on the spot.

The author's comments: The fact that these three warlords can stand together and take a group photo can be regarded as a "historical miracle". Due to Zhang Zongchang's defeat in 1928, this photo should have been taken before 1928. Judging from the photo, the three of them are wearing military uniforms, wearing various military medals on their chests, and they all hold sabers in their hands. At that time, everyone wanted to do a big career, but the three of them didn't end well! Ladies and gentlemen, what do you think after reading this set of old photos?
