On November 3, in order to ensure the smooth convening of the conference, the party committee of the school held a preparatory meeting for the first meeting of the fifth teaching (work) congress in the administrative conference room on the third floor.
At the meeting, Peng Huiqun, member of the party committee and vice president of the school, introduced the preparations for the meeting, explained the qualifications of the representatives, and finally reviewed and approved the arrangements and agenda of the first meeting of the Fifth Teaching (Work) Congress of Hukou No. 2 Middle School and the list of members of the presidium of the conference.

Formal meetings

Zhang Miao, deputy secretary of the party committee and principal of the school, made a "school work report", he reviewed the work for a period of time from the aspects of political ideology, management mechanism, quality education, logistics support, party and mass work and school influence, and then analyzed the current school development situation and deployed the key tasks for future work.

Democratic elections and closing
On the morning of November 4th, the closing ceremony of the first meeting of the Fifth Teaching (Work) Congress was held in the multi-functional lecture hall of the West Step, Zhang Ruizhen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, Zhang Miao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President Zhang Miao, and all team members, 105 faculty representatives attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Zhou Xiaofeng, member of the Party Committee and vice president of the school.
Liao Jianhua, director of the Women's Working Committee, read out the "Election Procedures and Measures of the General Assembly" and "Voting Methods of the General Assembly", and then the representatives of the teaching (workers) voted on the spot to pass the resolutions of the reports and elected the members of the trade union and the chairman of the trade union by secret ballot.
At the end of the meeting, Zhang Ruizhen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, delivered a closing speech. He first expressed warm congratulations to the newly elected comrades, expressed his loyal thanks to the delegates and staff for their hard work, and said that the school trade union, under the leadership of the school party committee, should give full play to the role of a bridge, unite the whole school faculty and staff, and actively participate in the school's various education and teaching reforms; It is also necessary to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of faculty and staff in accordance with the law, and do their best to fulfill the duties and obligations of the trade union. He expressed the hope that the deputies will focus on the overall situation of school reform, development, and stability, correctly handle the relationship between the interests of the school and individuals, safeguard the authority of the teachers' congress, and ensure that all aspects of the school's work advance toward the predetermined goals.
The passionate "Internationale" sounded, and the first meeting of the Fifth Teaching (Worker) Congress of Hukou No. 2 Middle School was successfully concluded.
