From November 4th to 5th, the campus of the High School Affiliated to Southwest University was crowded and particularly lively, and the school martial arts athletes in Beibei District gathered here to participate in the 2023 Beibei District Primary and Secondary School Students' Wushu Routine Competition and Wushu Seedling Trials.

The competition was jointly sponsored by the Beibei District Education Committee and the Beibei District Sports Development Center, and co-organized by the Beibei District School Wushu Alliance and the Middle School Affiliated to Southwest University. The competition consists of four competition groups: Primary School Group A, Primary School Group B, Junior High School Group, and High School Group, including two major competition contents: collective project and individual project.
In the waiting stage, the contestants were dressed in different shapes and exquisite styles of martial arts costumes, all of them were full of energy and high morale. After the start of the game, the players made their debut, showing their tiger and tiger legs, rigid and soft fists, flowing sticks, and light and elegant swordsmanship... It has demonstrated superb skills and excellent basic skills. The crowd watching from the sidelines couldn't help but cheer and applaud their wonderful performance and marvel at the charm of martial arts.

The competition not only provides a platform for primary and secondary school students in the district to show their martial arts talents, but also further promotes the friendly exchanges between martial arts athletes in the district, and promotes the popularization and development of martial arts in schools in Beibei District.
Wushu, a traditional sport with a history of thousands of years, has attracted athletes in Beibei District to learn with its unique movements, body movements and rhythms. Today, martial arts have become an important part of school sports in Beibei District. Different from ordinary broadcast gymnastics and sports activities, superb martial arts require years of practice, which can temper students' will and cultivate students' character.
