Over the years, gasoline has risen more and decreased less, and I also have a big opinion. A certain department said that oil prices should be in line with international standards, but China's oil prices are not really in line with the world, but have stepped out of China's special national conditions, which is particularly unsatisfactory.
However, the country's grand strategy is to develop new energy vehicles. Getting oil prices up is likely to be part of this strategy. After all, the rise in oil prices can highlight the low cost of new energy vehicles.
In the past few years, the sales of new energy vehicles have been growing rapidly. However, due to the small base, the actual sales of new energy vehicles are not high, accounting for a small proportion of total vehicle sales. It can be said that shouting so fiercely is just that the thunder is loud and the rain is small, which has little impact on the actual sales of fuel vehicles.
Taking last year as an example, after so many years of rapid growth, the sales volume of new energy vehicles last year was about 7 million, accounting for only 1/4 of the entire market. In other words, 3/4 of the market was still dominated by oil trucks last year.
Of course, it does not mean that traditional car companies are not affected, because they are very clear about the development trend. Although the sales volume will not be affected for the time being, if they do not lay out in advance, when the sales of oil vehicles avalanche, they will only be eliminated from the fate.
Therefore, in the past few years, we have seen that car companies have launched new energy models and developed new technologies, but the actual sales are not high, and the reason is this.
However, this year the situation has changed radically. The intersection of the fate of oil vehicles and new energy vehicles is imminent!
Taking the car sales in September this year as an example, the total sales of the passenger car market were 2.018 million units, and the new energy vehicles reached 746,000 units, accounting for 37%. Sales of gasoline-powered vehicles were 1.272 million units.
This sales volume has begun to seriously squeeze the sales of fuel vehicles. Comparing the figures for September last year, the total sales for that month were 1.922 million units, slightly less than this year (a year-on-year increase of about 5%), and the sales of new energy vehicles were 611,000 units, and the sales of fuel vehicles were 1.311 million units.
In other words, in the case of the increase in total car sales this year, the sales of fuel vehicles are shrinking. Although in terms of growth rate, the year-on-year growth rate of 22.1% of new energy vehicles in September is far from 82.9% last year, but because of the large base, this growth rate is already very lethal.
In the past October, although the overall figure has not yet come out, some new energy vehicle companies have announced their sales volume. The sales of the vast majority of car companies are soaring, a significant increase from September. For example, BYD, a leading automaker, sold more than 300,000 units in October (compared to more than 250,000 in September).
In addition to BYD, most of the car companies that have announced their sales volume, whether they are only new energy vehicles or traditional car companies that do it together with gasoline vehicles and electric vehicles, have reached a record high.
For example, Aion delivered 41,500 in October, a year-on-year increase of 38%;
Ideal delivery of 40,400 vehicles, a surge of 302.1%;
Geely's new energy vehicle sales reached 62,100 units, a record high for the third consecutive month, and the group's sales accounted for more than one-third.
Great Wall Motor's new energy vehicle sales were 30,500, a sharp increase of 178%;

Even Volkswagen, which is an afterthought, sold 15,100 new energy vehicles last month, a year-on-year increase of 136%.
At the same time, most car companies that focus on fuel vehicles have not yet announced their sales volumes. In fact, it's the same whether the public is released or not, and if the sales figures were good, they would have announced them a long time ago.
I estimate that the sales of new energy vehicles will account for more than 40% in October, further approaching the sales of traditional gasoline vehicles. At the end of this year or at the beginning of next year, new energy vehicles will surpass gasoline vehicles.
After that, the sales of gasoline vehicles will become more and more insignificant, and eventually they will be completely eliminated from the market.
From the perspective of models, new energy vehicle companies continue to innovate, chasing and fighting fuel vehicles, and the only advantages of fuel vehicles are also disappearing rapidly.
In the field of miniature scooters, trams have dominated the world. A car like Wuling Hongguang MINI only sells for 350,000 yuan, which is completely acceptable for users who only need to pick up their children and buy groceries on the street, and they don't care if it's ugly or not. In fact, this class of fuel cars has basically withdrawn from the market. Are there any other mini fuel cars still on sale?
In the field of mainstream family cars, the BYD Qin DMI, as a hybrid car with sufficient size, has ultra-low fuel consumption, but it is only sold for 100,000 yuan; The Changan Qiyuan A05 that has just been launched is even more outrageous, it is also a 4.7-meter-long hybrid sedan, which is only sold for 89,900, which is 10,000 cheaper than Qin.
In the past, an important reason why new energy vehicles could not open the market was that they were too expensive. But these two cars really have the same price as fuel vehicles, which is to force the rhythm of fuel vehicles! Moreover, more cars with similar positioning are on the way (Geely also has one with more than 110,000).
You total: smarter than fuel vehicles, stronger power, fuel consumption is lower than 3 cents per kilometer, and the price is not higher than fuel vehicles, please give me a reason to buy fuel vehicles?
At present, the segment of fuel vehicles is still quite strong, and only luxury cars are probably left. Because in this market, domestic cars lack brand appeal, there will still be many people who choose fuel vehicles just for a Mercedes-Benz and Audi logo.
Of course, everyone knows that this market segment will only collapse a little later, and it will be finished sooner or later.
Back to the original question, when fuel car owners keep complaining about high oil prices, they might as well look around: times have changed, and our fuel vehicles are already something that is about to be phased out. Our cars, and those of us who are owners, will become less and less valued by the world.
Perhaps, in a few years, there will not even be anyone who complains about high oil prices.
