In 2023, Shenzhen will include the "low-altitude economy" in the government work report for the first time, proposing to build a low-altitude economic center, and clearly taking Longhua District as a pilot area. In this context, the District Health Bureau cooperated with Meituan, a local company, to carry out an innovative drone specimen delivery project.

The first flight ceremony opened two air routes, namely the route from Longhua District People's Hospital to Yausong Community Health Center, and Longhua District People's Hospital to Shangtang Road Community Health Center. In the next two years, the Longhua District Health Bureau plans to open more than 40 air routes in four phases to build a drone medical distribution network in Longhua District.
At that time, the UAV medical distribution network will play an advantage in medical emergency blood, emergency drugs, and rapid diagnosis of clinically critical and critical patients.
