Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the arrangement of some holidays in 2024
The people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, ministries and commissions under the State Council, and agencies directly under the State Council:
With the approval of the State Council, the specific arrangements for the holidays and holidays for New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2024 are hereby notified as follows.
1. New Year's Day: Closed on January 1, and closed on weekends.
2. Spring Festival: February 10 to 17, a total of 8 days. We will start work on Sunday, February 4 and Sunday, February 18. Encourage all units to combine the implementation of paid annual leave and other systems to arrange employees to rest in Chinese New Year's Eve (February 9).
3. Qingming Festival: April 4 to 6, a total of 3 days. I will start work on Sunday, April 7.
4. Labor Day: May 1 to 5 holidays, a total of 5 days. We will start work on Sunday, April 28 and Saturday, May 11.
5. Dragon Boat Festival: Holiday on June 10, consecutive holidays with weekends.
6. Mid-Autumn Festival: September 15th to 17th, a total of 3 days. I will start work on Saturday, September 14.
7. National Day: October 1 to 7, a total of 7 days. We will start work on Sunday, September 29 and Saturday, October 12.
During the holidays, all regions and departments should properly arrange the work of duty and safety, security, epidemic prevention and control, etc., and in the event of major emergencies, they should promptly report and properly handle them in accordance with regulations to ensure that the people spend the holiday in peace and peace.
