On the same day, Japan's "Drift King", the protagonist of "Head Text D" Fujiwara Takumi prototype, and the runner-up driver of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Race Keiichi Tsuchiya were also invited to visit the booth to interact with the audience.

In July 2022, BYD officially entered the Japanese passenger car market, and has opened 15 stores across Japan, covering Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka and other cities, narrowing the distance with consumers by creating a personalized and convenient consumer experience. BYD plans to open 100 stores in Japan by the end of 2025 with local high-quality dealers and partners to meet the increased demand of local consumers for new energy vehicles.
