Criminal organizations hovering on the edge of the law, are a group of people who manipulate the darkness. Their financial means are unique, ostensibly legitimate, but in fact more corrupt than we think. These people tend to solve problems violently and pose a threat to the security and stability of society. Normally, the police take a firm crackdown on criminal organizations and eradicate them if they are detected. However, when these criminal organizations are too powerful, the government can do nothing.
Globally, there is a country whose government military power is threatened by criminal organizations, and a major general confesses that it can no longer compete with it. That country is Mexico, one of the relatively prosperous economies in Latin America, and its mining industry is the main source of income. However, since the spread of criminal organizations like the plague, the country has gradually descended into chaos, especially over drugs, conflicts have arisen and drug trafficking gangs have resorted to extreme means to obtain profits. Drug trafficking gangs export drugs abroad and then use the money they earn to build private armed forces, using them as a bargaining chip in response to police crackdowns. The two sides clashed fiercely, and the private armed team was equipped with mainly American-style weapons, powerful firepower, and even heavy weapons such as rocket launchers, M2 heavy machine guns and anti-tank weapons. Some groups have tens of thousands of armed men, which is unmatched by government forces. Once drug trafficking gangs took control, they began to act recklessly, targeting drug opponents and assassinations frequent. Many mayors tried to win the support of the underclass by calling for a ban on drugs, but the next day they were found collapsed at home and brutally abused, and in just over a decade, more than 20 mayors died tragically. Even general-level figures in the army were not spared, and in 2013, a lieutenant general was attacked on a highway and attacked by intense fire, almost beaten to pieces. The government stepped up its efforts to combat criminal organizations, carrying out large-scale arrests, but was met with retaliation by attacking civilians and even taking hostages to exchange with the police. All things considered, the spread of criminal organizations in Mexico has become difficult to contain, the huge revenue from drugs has established an intricate chain of interests, even internal officials have been corrupted, and some of the people at the bottom have relied on the cultivation of drug raw materials for their livelihood. It is very difficult to change this situation, even if the United States is involved, it is difficult to guarantee success, and the country seems to be in despair.
