Best All-in-One PCs 2023

author:Technology and artificial intelligence

The all-in-one computer provides everything the average consumer needs in a single product, replacing a stand-alone desktop in the form of personal computer hardware with a display. They come in a variety of styles, offering everything from 1080p touchscreens to 5K resolution, powerful sound, and high-end Intel Core processors. Usually every all-in-one computer also comes with a keyboard and mouse.

Most target premium markets have streamlined designs, but recent offerings continue to push the boundaries of what budget PCs can do. Consumers buy this style and convenience at the expense of performance, and while the best all-in-one PCs don't have the processors or graphics cards that some enthusiasts need, they're efficient enough for most everyday tasks.

Best All-in-One PCs 2023

Why you should buy this product: It's currently the best all-in-one desktop computer on the market.

Who is it for: PC users with limited space who want powerful performance without the need for a bulky tower case.

Why we chose HP Envy 34:

HP's Envy All-in-One has always been an impressive machine, but this latest model takes an effortless position at the top of the list. Don't worry if this all-in-one has enough power, because it comes with a range of excellent configurations, including a 12th-generation octa-core Intel processor, 16GB of memory, not to mention a wide 34-inch 5120 x 2160 resolution display.

Whatever you think about this all-in-one, it's ready to deal with it. This includes the Nvidia GeForce GTX 3060 graphics card, which powers your gaming adventures, and comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports (as well as USB-A, USB-C, and SD card readers). In terms of storage, it comes with a 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive (SSD), which is enough for most needs, and supports Wi-Fi 6.

This kit also includes a magnetic webcam that you can connect to five different locations of your monitor, depending on how you use it best. Overall, while not everyone needs this full-spec kit, it's the best all-in-one we've found so far.

Best All-in-One PCs 2023

Why you should buy this product: It's Apple's most powerful iMac to date, and the all-new color options are eye-catching.

It is suitable for: Anyone who wants a simple all-rounder, powerful enough to handle most tasks.

Why did we choose the Apple iMac M1?

Apple's 2021 update to the iMac brought us a colorful, 24-inch popular all-in-one, now equipped with Apple's own M1 processor chip. This new slim design offers a variety of color options, but the real highlight is the 4.5K 4480 x 2520 resolution screen, which renders extremely sharp images (not to mention 100% in the sRGB range and 90% in the AdobeRGB range in terms of color). As always, it's an excellent choice for artists and designers, as long as you don't mind using a MacOS system.

In addition to Apple's powerful M1 chip (a real upgrade compared to smaller iMacs of the past), this iMac comes with a seven-core GPU (which can be upgraded to eight-core), 8GB of memory, and up to 512GB of storage. The base model comes with two Thunderbolt 4/USB4 ports, but the upgraded model also adds USB-A and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.

The downside is that the only option for the iMac M1 version is the smaller 24-inch model, which reduces the size of the display. The larger 27-inch iMacs come with a powerful Intel Core i9 chip, but they can't compete with the newer Apple M1.

Best All-in-One PCs 2023

Why you should buy this product: This is the most powerful 27-inch iMac currently on the market.

Who it is: Apple fans who want a 27-inch all-in-one and can't wait for a new model.

Why did we choose Apple iMac 5K 27 inch?

Apple has switched to its own M1 chip on the 24-inch iMac, but the 27-inch model with a 5K screen still uses Intel chips. Despite being hotter and more power-hungry than the M1 version, the 27-inch iMac is still the best 27-inch all-in-one out there, at least until Apple updates the model with its own chips.

While you don't have the same color options, the iMac's iconic silver design still looks good. Inside, you'll see up to the tenth generation Intel Core i7 processor, eight cores, up to 128GB of memory, 512GB of storage, and the all-important AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT. The 27-inch iMac is not a professional gaming console, but the dedicated graphics card gives it some gaming capabilities.

If you're worried about support, don't worry — Apple has said it will continue to support Intel models for years, including the 27-inch iMac 5K. Although the Intel chip inside this model may heat up higher, it is capable of handling almost all tasks with ease. Compared to the previous generation, we have improved performance by up to 48% in some tasks.

The iMac Pro is a more powerful machine, but it's also more expensive. The machine used a Xeon CPU instead of an Intel Core i7 processor, a change that led to a high price. Buying a refurbished iMac Pro costs at least $3,800 and can go as high as $7,200.

Why you should buy this: It's a rugged budget all-in-one with the latest hardware built in.

Who is it suitable for: Home office users who need an ultrabook in the form of an all-in-one.

Why we chose the Dell Inspiron 27 7720:

Dell's Inspiron 27 7720 model is perfect for you if you need an all-in-one computer that the whole family can enjoy. It costs almost as much as our budget options, but looks top-notch and offers plenty of the latest high-performance hardware for every family member.

Dell's latest Inspiron AIO PC showcases a 27-inch HD InfinityEdge screen that transforms into a more compact monitor with slimmer bezels. Behind the screen, there is Intel's latest Core i7-1355U processor, 16GB of memory, and a PCIe NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512GB (and a 1TB hard disk storage). The configuration also includes Nvidia's GeForce MX550, which can be used for everyday gaming and basic 3D rendering.

This computer is perfect for those who need a lot of connectivity features. It comes with four USB-A ports, one USB-C port, HDMI output and input. In addition, it comes with an SD card reader, wired Ethernet, Bluetooth version 5.3, a pop-up webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E support for a faster and more reliable network connection. This 27-inch HD display is bright and attractive, although it's not the most detailed display at this size.

Why you should buy this product: HP's all-in-one PCs come with the latest processors and great security options.

Who it is for: Commercial enterprises that are willing to pay more for serious work.

Why we chose the HP EliteOne 840 G9:

Businesses and remote workers willing to spend a little more will be delighted with this upgraded version of HP MFPs. It comes with powerful specs, including a 12-core 12th-generation Intel chip, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD. The 24-inch screen also has a touchscreen function, which is difficult to find in many MFPs.

EliteOne is also suitable for remote meetings, with the benefits of HP Auto Frame and other webcams to ensure clear images when conducting remote meetings. Plus, it comes with the HP Wolf Pro security system, which is a welcome addition for small businesses looking for trusted built-in security software.

Best All-in-One PCs 2023

Why you should buy this product: Its price is quite cheap compared to all-in-one.

Who it is: Families and students who need reliable computing power and affordable prices.

Why we chose Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 3i:

Lenovo's IdeaCentre line is the perfect combination of affordability and performance. Powered by the Intel Core i7-p13620H processor, this product offers outstanding performance with 10 cores of Intel's latest architecture. This computer has enough processing power to handle both work tasks and entertainment needs. Meanwhile, the 27-inch Full HD display offers minimalist backline management options while saving space.

This particular model comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, although there are cheaper models that offer fewer configurations. Work-oriented features such as a 720p webcam with a built-in privacy shutter make it a lower-cost option for remote work environments than many all-in-ones.

However, the ports are somewhat limited on the IdeaCentre AIO 3: with two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-A 2.0 connections, but without the USB-C option and without offering an advanced USB4 port like the iMac M1. Also includes an HDMI port and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
