The forum was hosted by the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute, organized by the National Iron and Steel Standardization Technical Committee, the Iron Ore and Direct Reduced Iron Standardization Technical Committee and the Pig Iron and Ferroalloy Standardization Technical Committee, and co-organized by Wuhan Zhongkechuang New Technology Co., Ltd. More than 400 inspectors engaged in mechanics, chemistry, corrosion, metallography, physical properties and nondestructive testing of metal materials in various industries, quality inspection institutions, scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, equipment and instrument manufacturers relevant personnel attended the meeting, and nearly 40 well-known enterprises in the industry supported and participated in the exhibition.

At the venue in the field of nondestructive testing, Han Zhixiong, director of Zhongke Innovation R&D Center, gave a keynote speech on "Application of Ultrasonic Phased Array Technology in the Steel Industry". The guests and representatives of the meeting worked together to discuss how to standardize, support and lead the quality improvement and green development of China's steel industry with standardization, share the beneficial practice of standardization work and high-quality development of steel enterprises, and provide constructive suggestions for the common development of the "14th Five-Year Plan" standardization of the steel industry.
At the co-organizer Zhongke Innovation Booth, a variety of portable ultrasonic detectors were displayed. With the high-tech development of society, the application of ultrasonic testing is becoming more and more extensive, such as the B ultrasound that we go to the hospital for examination. The batch of ultrasonic detectors displayed by Zhongke Innovation is used in the industrial field, which inspects not the human body, but the object, compared with the B ultrasound, the application is widespread and more complex. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Bird's Nest, High-speed Railway and other major projects in service and under construction need to use ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology to ensure, which has been fully integrated into people's lives, providing a strong guarantee for the green and environmentally friendly development of the steel industry.
