Yue Zhonghuang's hard work made him famous. After recovering the lost territory, Yue Zhonghuang did not become complacent, but immediately led his troops to Qamdo, recruited new soldiers, and selected brave and good fighters from all ethnic groups to enrich his team.
He knew that it was his duty to be loyal to the country. Soon after, he trained a formidable new army and quelled the rebellion on the frontier.
The merit was high and shocking the lord, but Yue Zhonghuang's mind was pure, and after he presented the war report to the emperor, he only wanted to return to the border as soon as possible to protect the peace of the people. When the emperor saw Yue Zhonghuang's outstanding battle exploits, he did not forget his original intention, gave him the Peacock Ling, and appointed him as the local governor.
Yue Zhonghuang's reputation spread throughout the country. In 1732, Yue Zhonghuang performed mediocrely in the Battle of Dzungar and was falsely accused and imprisoned.
Innocent of him, he was imprisoned and tortured and tormented for five years. The Yongzheng Emperor was suspicious at the time, and after listening to the rumors of his traitors, he removed Yue Zhonghuang from office and continued to imprison, where he experienced despair and resentment.
Fortunately, under the final decision of the Yongzheng Emperor, Yue Zhonghuang's sentence was reduced, but he remained imprisoned. However, the justice and honor in Yue Zhonghuang's heart still supported him and allowed him to survive that long prison time.
After regaining his freedom, Yue Zhonghuang soon faced new challenges. In 1740, a rebellion broke out in the Xiaojinchuan area of Sichuan, and the situation was grim.
The Qianlong Emperor decided to reinstate Yue Zhonghuang as the governor of Sichuan and lead his army to suppress the rebellion. Yue Zhonghuang gladly accepted the order, determined to prove his loyalty and bravery to the world with his own hands.
Under his leadership, morale was high, and he took the lead in bloody battles with the enemy, eventually defeating the rebellion of Jinchuan. Five years later, he successfully quelled the outbreak of the Great and Small Jinchuan Rebellion and once again established the unearthly achievement.
These two victories impressed everyone with him. However, a great person tends to suffer more tests.
While preparing to march against Chen Kun's uprising, Yue Zhonghuang suddenly fell seriously ill and died in the army at the age of 68. His ambition has not waned, and his spirit and demeanor are still there.
The soldiers were so distraught by him that they buried him in Chengdu and reported to the Qianlong Emperor. The Qianlong Emperor also expressed regret, posthumously gave Yue Zhonghuang the nickname "Xiangqin", and strongly praised him.
Yue Zhonghuang became one of the five great generals of the Qing Dynasty, and his name and exploits are remembered in the annals of history. Yue Zhonghuang inherited the mantle of Yue Fei, inherited the spirit of serving the country and saving the dead, and interpreted the integrity and backbone of the Chinese nation with his life.
