Hefei Jinghe IC 12-inch wafer manufacturing project started

According to Xinhua News Agency, on October 7, Anhui Province held a mobilization meeting for the fourth batch of major projects in the province in 2023.

In addition, in the list of key projects in Anhui Province in 2023 (the first batch), the Jinghe Phase II Project and the Hefei Jinghe Integrated Circuit Advanced Process R&D Project were listed as continuation projects.

Shunwei Technology Group's IGBT/SiC power semiconductor module project is located in Tianxin High-tech Park, mainly producing industrial frequency regulation, charging piles, energy storage inverter, photovoltaic/wind power generation IGBT modules, etc. With a total investment of 750 million yuan, the project is expected to start construction at the end of this year and officially put into operation in the first half of next year, with an output of 4 million IGBT modules and 1 million SiC modules, with an estimated annual output value of 800 million yuan.
