These beautiful poems are the wonderful words left by the literati Yashi, who has visited the mountains and rivers of Kangle County since the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Kangle County is an emerald set on the Silk Road, the Tangbo Ancient Road, and the Tea and Horse Market.
There are ancient historical and cultural origins here. This hot land has witnessed the historical evolution of prehistoric civilizations such as Majiayao culture, Qi family culture, and Bianjialin culture, telling the ancient tales of mink cicadas and red rabbits during the Three Kingdoms period, and echoing the euphemistic melody of the national intangible cultural heritage "Lotus Mountain Flower Society". It is the hometown of Niu Zaikun, a famous practitioner of "education to save the country" and "industry to save the country" in modern history, Shu Chunguang, the founder of the Chinese border desert landscape painting school, and the ancestral hometown of the representative lyricist Xin Jiuqi of the Haofang School.
There is a beautiful ecological talent here. Located in the south-central part of Gansu Province and the southeast end of Linxia Prefecture, it belongs to the transition zone from the Loess Plateau to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with a forest coverage rate of 34.82%, and is a county surrounded by nature, with superior ecological environment and abundant mountain products. The altitude of the territory is 1898-3908 meters, there is no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer, which is a "natural oxygen bar" and "Lanzhou back garden" suitable for living, working and traveling, and is known as "rouge three rivers rice grain river".
Tourism resources are rich here. There are 2 national 4A-level scenic spots such as Rouge Lake and Caochanggou, 4 3A-level scenic spots in Lianhua Mountain, Zhuzigou, Birch Forest and Hekou, and 13 scenic spots with great development potential. It has successively won the honorary titles of "China's Most Beautiful Rural Tourism Destination in the New Era", "China's Beautiful Rural Characteristic Tourism County" and "Beautiful China's Ecological Cultural Tourism Famous County". Nagou Village, Basong Township, was established as a national key village of rural tourism, a provincial rural tourism demonstration village, and a model village for the revitalization of cultural tourism in the province.
The natural scenery here is beautiful. The territory is full of undulating mountains, river valleys, green peaks and beautiful scenery. The peaks of Baozi Mountain, Baozi Mountain, Jianshi Mountain, and Baishi Mountain are all in the territory of Kangle, and the four mountains around the county seat are protected by dragons, phoenixes, elephants and leopards, and surrounded by three rivers of rouge. The unique geographical environment allows this county town to be full of natural beauty, forming ten natural landscapes: lotus wonderland, white stone summer snow, rouge seal moon, snow embroidered birch, Haidian Ping Lake, Mashan Xiongguan, Cloud Silk Road, Yaoshui Lingjin, Hemu morning smoke, and honeycomb ancient temple. These landscapes are a combination of rugged and vast and beautiful and precipitous, containing spring flowers and summer water, autumn leaves and winter snow, vividly interpreting the beauty of recreation landscapes.
There are many cultural relics here. There are 138 archived cultural relics protection units in the county, including 15 cultural relics protection sites at or above the county level, including 1 national key cultural relics protection unit (Bianjialin site), 3 provincial cultural relics protection units (Wang Family Site, Sutusi City Site, and Lujia Lou), and 11 county-level cultural relics protection units.
