Official announcement: 6 countries jointly host the 3030 World Cup

The FIFA Council officially announced that the 2030 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, while the first three matches will be held in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to pay tribute to the centenary of the World Cup. In addition, member associations in Asia and Oceania will compete to host the 2034 World Cup, and the Saudi Football Federation has announced its intention to bid separately.
