The form of safety education in workshops and teams

author:Safe and smooth Wei

The forms of workshop and team safety education are diverse. Generally speaking, different forms of education should be adopted according to the production, personnel, enterprise conditions and other conditions of the workshop and team.

  (1) According to the method of education

  a. Attending classes. That is, all the staff or team members of the workshop are assembled, and the workshop leader or team leader or external experts are invited to give lectures and impart safety knowledge and skills. This method is mainly used to explain the national safety production guidelines, policies, laws and regulations, learn the theoretical knowledge and skills about production and safety, such as the safety technology training of various types of work, especially special operation personnel.

  b. Discuss analysis. This form of education is characterized by analysis and discussion of a problem or an accident case in production safety, such as an accident site meeting held after an accident. Through discussion and analysis, a certain problem can be deepened or correctly understood, and lessons can be drawn from the accidents that have occurred and taken as a warning.

  c. Advocacy. Using modern and traditional publicity and education tools such as television, video, radio, blackboard newspapers, and photo exhibitions, we actively publicize safety production laws, regulations, safety knowledge and operational skills, and conduct case analysis of accidents.

  d. Carry out cultural and entertainment competitions. Through the holding of theatrical performances, speeches, calligraphy art exhibitions, intellectual competitions, fire games, operation skills competitions and other activities, safety education in various activities, often can receive better results.

  e. Study visits. Through observing and learning from experience, visiting and learning, you can learn the successful experience and moving deeds of other units and brother teams in safety production, so as to promote the safety work of this workshop and team.

  (2) According to the time of education

  a. Centralized education. That is, use a relatively concentrated period of time to carry out more systematic safety education, such as learning the national safety production guidelines, policies, laws and regulations, the unit's production, technology, equipment knowledge and safety rules and regulations, safety operation procedures and skills of various types of work. Through centralized safety education, employees can master the necessary safety knowledge and skills in a comprehensive and systematic manner. However, centralized education can not occupy a lot of working time, but should be reasonably arranged, see sewing needles, such as the use of equipment overhaul, the operator's workload is generally less time.

  (b) Regular education. Safety education should be long-term, continuous, and cannot be done once and for all. Therefore, centralized education can not make people at any time, anywhere, any operation process consistently, 100% meet the safety requirements, which requires unremitting regular safety education, the use of various opportunities (such as before and after the shift, when employees are found to have unsafe behaviors and thoughts, before and after holidays, after accidents, etc.) to carry out vivid and lively safety production education. This form of education is short, highly targeted, easy to receive results after implementation, and has a deep impression, always arousing people's strong safety awareness and vigilance to accidents, and can play a role in sounding the alarm bell.

  (3) Workers who receive education

  a. Safety education for ordinary workers. The types of work performed by such workers are not dangerous or less dangerous to themselves or others, as well as to the surrounding equipment, environment, etc. The "three-level" safety education is the plant-level, workshop-level and team-level safety education for new workers entering the factory.

Workshop safety education is a workshop-level safety education conducted after new workers or transferred workers are assigned to the workshop, organized and implemented by the workshop leader, assisted by full-time or part-time safety officers in the workshop. The content of education includes the production nature, characteristics, production process, characteristics of main equipment, labor safety and health status, main dangers, hazards and precautions, main measures to prevent work-related accidents and occupational diseases, typical accident cases, accident emergency treatment measures and other contents.

Team safety education is the most specific, important and operational education in the three levels of education, which is carried out by the team leader in conjunction with the safety officer and the shift master. It is mainly to introduce the work tasks, production characteristics, operating environment, hazardous areas, equipment performance and status of the team, the role and integrity requirements of safety protection devices and facilities, the cleanliness and hygiene requirements of the work site and the specific work position for safety rules and regulations, job responsibilities, safety operation procedures, compliance with rules and discipline education, labor protection equipment, work tools safety use knowledge education; Point out the safety precautions of hazardous work sites and the safety precautions for the connection and cooperation between jobs; The organization attaches importance to safety, skilled and experienced old employees to demonstrate safe operations, and explains the essentials of safe operations, emphasizing the harm caused by non-compliance with operating procedures.

  b. Safety education for special operation personnel. Because special operations have major risk factors for the safety of the operator himself and others and surrounding facilities, the safety education of special operation personnel is particularly important, and the state has strict regulations on this.

For personnel in electrical, lifting machinery, boilers, pressure vessels, welding, vehicle driving, blasting and other special jobs, in addition to the enterprise organizing them to carry out strict special safety technology training and assessment according to regulations, workshops and teams should actively cooperate, designate special personnel to conduct actual post operation training for them, and ensure that workers in special jobs participate in "retraining education" on schedule. Operators of special types of work must hold the operation certificate of the type of work before they can operate independently.
