Therefore, Hui Yu fell to the Zen master in Nanhua Temple, and went out without being ordained. At first, he visited Zen Master Yanyuan and realized the mysterious purpose, and later consulted as Zen Master Shan Lingyu and entered the hall.
Zen Master Lingyu asked Hui Xian, "Are you a Shami with a lord or a Shami without a master?" ”
Hui Yu said, "It is Shami who has the Lord." ”
Lingyou said, "Where is your Lord?" ”
Hui Xiao walked from the west to the east, standing tall. Lingyu Zen Master knew that Hui Yu was not an idle person, so he decided to teach him.
Hui Yu asked, "How can I achieve true Zen enlightenment?" ”
Lingyou said: "True meditation is not based on contemplation or non-thinking, it goes beyond contemplation or non-contemplation, but expresses the infinite vitality of one's Buddha-nature freely with the wonderful meaning of contemplation or non-contemplation." ”
"The true Zen practitioner does not think or do not think, but grasps the lively reality of life, on the one hand, in real life to benefit all sentient beings without losing the enlightened state of wisdom, on the other hand, does not cling to this enlightened state and lives a normal life."
"Only in this way can we attain the realm of true Buddhahood."

The rock head said, "I don't print but you put it down, only print you put it away." ”
Hui Yu went to ask Zen Master Shimuro again: "How far is the Buddha and the Tao?" ”
Shimuro said, "Dao Ru unfolded his palm, and the Buddha seemed to clench his fist. ”
So Hui Yu said goodbye to the stone room, and the stone room went to the door, and the stone room said: "Don't go forever, please come to my side in the future." ”
One day, Yangshan went to open the field with the mountain, and Yangshan asked: "Why is the field so high and the field so low?" ”
Wei Shan said: "Water can level things, just because water is flat." ”
Yangshan said: "If the water is not relied on, it cannot be flat, it should be said that the water is high and flat in the high place, and the water is low in the low place." ”
When a benefactor sent silk to Weishan, Yangshan asked, "What will a monk use in return for receiving this offering from the donor?" ”
