This is difficult to accept and even more infuriating.
If mainland fishermen break into South Korea's territorial waters for no reason, then South Korea will enforce it according to the law, then we have nothing to say. Respect for international law is our bottom line and a principle that we have always followed. Crucially, however, when mainland fishermen were arrested by South Korea's law enforcement coast guard, it was in the waters near Yeonpyeong Island, Wongjin County, Incheon. The point is that this is not Korean territorial waters! Therefore, the South Korean side's removal of the Chinese fishing boat is a typical "cross-border capture". Not to mention bringing Chinese fishermen back to South Korea for interrogation, it is a typical "arbitrary detention."
South Korea's approach is the same as that of the Philippines. While they want to ease Sino-South Korean relations, they also engage in such lawless behavior, which is simply a typical "duplicity". The Philippines has already tasted the bitter fruits of sanctions, has South Korea not seen this?
China will never tolerate any country infringing on our interests and dignity. China can sanction the Philippines as well as South Korea. We do not wish to be enemies of our neighbours, but we will never back down, let alone tolerate their unjustifiable actions.
