On September 26th, the first 100-day hiking and camping festival of Baijianghu Forest Park, hosted by Guangzhou Forestry and Garden Bureau and undertaken by Guangzhou Zengcheng Forest Farm Management Center, was officially opened.
At the opening ceremony, Guangzhou Zengcheng Forest Farm Management Center signed a cooperation contract with Guangzhou Yueyun Automobile Transport Co., Ltd. to provide convenient shuttle bus services for park visitors. The staff introduced the characteristics and gameplay of the 100-day hiking and camping festival of Baijianghu Forest Park for the guests. At the same time, under the witness of everyone, the national 3A-level tourist scenic spot and Guangzhou Young Pioneers off-campus practical education camp (base) were officially unveiled.
After listening to the professional instructor explain the precautions for mountaineering and how to use the equipment, the guests actively participated in the 5-kilometer hiking activity and wild animal release activity, so as to express their full support and full expectation for the 100-day hiking and camping festival, and empower the ecological construction of Lvmei Guangzhou with practical actions.
Baijianghu Forest Park has opened up three high-quality hiking routes based on the completed river tracing trail, mountaintop greenway and sightseeing lane, which are the A line parent-child 3 km group, the B line team 5 km group, and the C line challenge 8 km group.
The hiking and camping festival runs from September 26, 2023 to January 2, 2024.
During the event period, visitors can receive a check-in album after purchasing a ticket to enter the park, choose any route to go to the corresponding attraction to complete the stamping and punching, and you can receive the corresponding gold, silver and bronze medals at the end point.
In addition, the park has built an open RV campsite in the Conghua Valley Scenic Area, covering an area of about 2,500 square meters. During the Hiking and Camping Festival, visitors can experience camping by appointment by appointment.
