Wang Jie explained: "The reason is that in my province, there are very few Chinese supermarkets, usually I eat at home, I also cook rice, most of them are fried chili peppers with shredded tofu meat, fried spinach with garlic, or scrambled eggs with green onions, etc., scrambled eggs with shredded carrots, but I like to put the rice and vegetables in the refrigerator, only take them out the next day, use ice rice to boil water to eat dishes, love overnight dishes, this is a habit that I have developed before becoming a singer." Eating overnight meals has become a habit for him for many years.

He revealed that he used to be on Zhang Fei's program, and there was a dish stir-fried on the program, and the other party said it was delicious, "But I think it's the effect of the program, I don't think it's delicious, but there is an effect on TV, and it will be misunderstood to make it, I stir-fry is delicious, I don't know how to stir-fry at all." Some people asked, will it make a stir-fry show, I think don't mislead people's children!"

However, after living in Canada for a long time, he said that sometimes when he is hungry, he will think of Hong Kong fish egg noodles, but also think of Taiwan's railway bento, pork ribs rice and pork foot rice and oyster noodles, and the most unforgettable thing is the unexpected joy of a radio program.
Wang Jie revealed: "My colleague took me to eat chicken steak rice at Fanglin Restaurant on Zhongshan North Road, and I was shocked, I went to eat it three days a week, and I would eat it twice a day when I got nervous, which was almost like my own canteen. After going for a long time, the waiter didn't need to let me order, I often sat in the corner by myself, the waiter knew what I was going to eat, I was a very dedicated person, I really loved that meal. Later, I didn't know where the restaurant had moved, so I couldn't eat anymore. After being away from home for a long time, I will miss these delicacies very much, and the taste will continue to linger in my head, which is a beautiful memory and memory." And he will also make his own spicy pot at home, all of which are nostalgic Taiwanese flavors.
Referring to the previous seething ME TOO incident in the entertainment industry, he said: "For so many years, I have never watched the entertainment industry news, seeing the Taiwan ME TOO incident, I went to brush the news, always feel right and wrong, who can judge these things except God, some artists bury their heads in hard work, pay for faith and ideals, and are eventually marginalized, when the glory passes, who remembers them years later?" Or who can rehabilitate him. Everyone has a ruler in their hearts, so it is better to work hard for their ideals and their families." He expressed his views on these turmoil in Taiwan.
And asked about just helping his family to finish the aftermath, he sighed: "People in this life, one day to leave, that is the process of life, if sad, it is better to calm down, the road always has to go down, from childhood to adulthood I don't value fame and fortune, maybe grew up on the Shaw set, when I was a child star, I saw too many stars of sweetness and bitterness, and finally chose to give up, taking advantage of my old age to walk and live the life I want."
