"Golden City Road is so poetic, I wrote it into my own poem."

"There are a lot of stories going on at the Shanghai International Dance Center, and I also wanted to create a script that takes place here, it must be interesting..."

On the afternoon of September 23rd, the award-winning authors departed from Changning District Library and boarded the "Why Love Changning" double-decker bus to visit Changning's popular "check-in points" and cultural landmarks such as Golden City Road, Wuyi Road Street, and Shanghai International Dance Center.

While enjoying the beautiful scenery of Changning and listening to the development history of Changning, the authors exchanged their writing experience and experiences and feelings in Changning, and gained a deeper and three-dimensional understanding of the overall cultural style of Changning District.

At the end of the micro-trip, the authors came to the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. After the award ceremony, under the guidance of professional teachers, everyone made oil-paper umbrellas by themselves to feel the charm of intangible cultural heritage.

It is understood that this collection activity is guided by the Office of Changning District Spiritual Civilization Construction Steering Committee, Changning District Culture and Tourism Bureau, Changning District "Anti-pornography and Fighting Illegal Activities" and Cultural Market Management Office, and jointly organized by Changning District Library, Changning District Culture and Tourism Management Affairs Center and Changning Culture and Art Center, showing Changning's rich cultural landmarks, tourism resources and cultural heritage in the form of essays, travel strategies and micro-script collection, so that citizens and readers can find the reasons for "why love Changning" in the streets and life.

At the same time, the event also promoted green reading to the society, advocated the public to consciously stay away from and resist illegal and harmful publications, and jointly built a safety wall for green reading.

Among the participants of this collection activity, there are not only the "old land" born and raised in Changning, but also new Shanghainese who have come to Shanghai to struggle, as well as white-collar youth, primary and secondary school students, etc. After expert review, more than 20 works stood out. These works tell Changning's "yesterday's story" in a variety of ways, show Changning's "today's style", and imagine Changning's "tomorrow's glory".

During the essay contest, the event organizers also carried out a number of "Why Love Changning" micro-travel activities in combination with the popular form of "cultural micro-travel", inviting citizens and readers to stroll through Yuyuan Road and feel the development and changes of "100 Years of Changning". Next, Changning Cultural Tourism will further integrate cultural tourism, culture and commerce, culture and education, culture and sports, and provide citizens with richer "spiritual food" through activities such as "Why Love Changning", so that "culture + high-quality life" is within reach.
