1060 km, the road is not long.
From the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River on the west side of Shaanxi to the starting point of the grassland sky road on the Hebei Dam, the whole journey is 1,040 kilometers, and we walked dozens of kilometers more because of repairing cars and changing spark plugs. Depart at 7 a.m. and arrive at Guyuan at 21:30 p.m.
When I arrived in Guyuan, I knew that there was the National No. 1 Scenic Avenue.
Baidu, "Avenue" has a long history.
In 2018, the Hebei Tourism Industry Development Conference was held on the Chengde Dam, launching the 180-kilometer-long national "No. 1 Scenic Avenue". The road runs from Saihanba National Forest Park in the east to Datan Town, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County in the west.
The "Avenue" straddles the geographical boundary between the Mongolian Plateau and the North China Plain, and has a variety of natural landscapes such as forests, grasslands, lakes, wetlands, and mountains.
Waking up at 5 o'clock in the morning, Cuong, who had already set off, called, "Hurry up, Asaka is very good!" "When they said that, they had arrived at Lightning Lake, and the aerial light was indeed good.
We took pictures at the beginning of the road and headed towards the Colorful Forest Park. Golden grasslands, picturesque autumn forests, fierce horses, cattle and sheep in the meadows are all displayed.
Entering the scenic area of the park, the birch forest, colorful lake, moose, camels, and sika deer live in harmony, and the Kelsang flowers along the way rush into the eyes, and everyone naturally checks in again.
A beautiful woman was close to the moose and asked me to take a picture of the person and the moose. Awa, who had been a soldier, approached the camel herd and took three pictures in a row.
Walking out of the Colorful Forest Park, we realized that the National No. 1 Landscape Avenue is connected to the Qianli Grassland Landscape Avenue, leading to the 331 National Highway on the border of China and Mongolia.
On this road, there are China Horse Town Tourist Resort, Tianma Flying Town, and Daokou Pasture Scenic Area.
At about 3 p.m., we left Hebei and entered the boundary of the Xilin Gol League in Inner Mongolia.
