Air source heat pump water-based paint pipe drying project

  1. Project overview and needs

  This project is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, which is a water-based paint steel pipe drying project. The drying room is designed by air source heat pump drying scheme, which is more than 50% energy saving than other energy drying of traditional electric heaters.

  2. Design concept and heat load calculation idea

  1. This scheme adopts an integral open air source heat pump as an energy-saving heat source, heats the air in the drying room to 55 °C±5 °C, and then circulates the hot air continuously through the circulating fan, and heats up again through the condenser into the drying room to achieve the purpose of energy-saving drying.

  Advantages of integral open-loop heat pump: As a new generation of heating equipment, the annual average energy efficiency ratio is ≥ 3.0, which has the advantages of high efficiency and energy saving, safe operation, fast temperature rise, large dehumidification intensity and wide range of application.

  2. This scheme adopts 4 air energy heat pump units, of which 2 adopt integral open-loop heat pump units to increase the dehumidification effect, and 2 adopt integral open-loop heat pump units.

  3. Drying room and air duct design

  The drying room is located above the traversing chain bed and consists of a structural frame, siding, explosion-proof lighting and access doors. One side of the insulation room is equipped with a compartment to place the heat pump unit and the return air pipeline (the return air outlet is equipped with a set of paint mist filtration device), and the top is equipped with a horizontal air supply duct to form an upper and lower circulation air system. A soft curtain is provided at the outlet end of the room to reduce the spillage of hot air. The drying room adopts 75mm thick rock wool insulation board, and 5 sides are insulated.
